Disliked{quote} I'm sorry, my mistake. I wanted to say that with "MinPercentAdrCup" at 70, and with GBPAUD/CAD/CHF/JPY/USD's ADRs already above 70%, the signals aren't appearing dashboard/indi... So my correct question would be: Is it because all those candles actually need the previous ones to also have qualified as signals? Also: Would it be possible that the entry trigger with "MinPercentAdrCup" could happen while each candle is still forming, independently of the previous one?Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi R4me I noticed your very hard on Robot trader, is that due to all the abuse you have received from those other Aussies ? His a nice guy.Ignored
DislikedLet's say we are instead on an M15 chart. The same rules apply: Candle #1 (the previous candle) closes above the band. Candle #2 (the current candle) Opens above the band. In addition, the current %ADR must be >= 70% If Candle #2 closes before %ADR has reached 70% then we start all over again.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Have I understood correctly that the signal will appear on the M15 chart, the very next candle open that fulfils the condition ? If applied on D1 chart, the next D1 candle open may not fulfil all the conditions and so no signal dot.Ignored
QuoteDislikedHave I understood correctly that the signal will appear on the M15 chart, the very next candle open that fulfils the condition ?
DislikedSo -- dots are not signals. The temporary arrows are signals.
Yes. Signals only occur at Open ticks. And the conditions are: 1. Previous bar closed above the band. 2. Current bar's Open tick is above the band. 3. The day's ADR cup is 70% full.Ignored
Disliked@robots4me -- Thank you for your detailed explanations. I will provide you with pictures in a moment. {quote} {quote} So the signal appears as soon as the current bar %ADR has reached 70 and not when/after it closes, right? Disliked{quote} {quote} @Viktory -- yes -- that's exactly how it works. As the day goes along, with each tick (regardless of time frame) the %ADR can only increase or stay the same. As long as Candle #1 closed above the bar and Candle #2 (the current one) opened above the bar, then we are looking for %ADR to be reached as the current candle is forming.Ignored

Disliked{quote} {quote} @Viktory -- yes that is correct. {quote} Okay -- then I may need to take a closer look. However, the dashboard uses the same code as the indicator and other EAs. {quote} I think I understand what you are getting at and in practice the results would probably be similar. But since we are reverse trading then I think the Close followed by an Open is important. Also, I don't want to change the algorithm based on a hunch. If you can provide evidence that ignoring Candle #1 works better then I'm game. Also, this is @bishopdotun's brain...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Well that's what happens when you add new filters, the dynamics change because the new filter is saying we are good to go, but Mr. EA says no your just a filter you are not that important and we must waitIgnored
