So here is my close on Friday USD/MXN not wanting to hold over the weekend I closed, could have had an earlier profit, small but profit, instead held for the break, never happend, will be an interesting open tonight, enjoy, D

My indi's suggest a drop at the open, support 55.63/30 My thinking is a good forage down, kick out the bears and head north 55.27 looks like the lower channel line at the moment, below this would change my view, timing suggests 23rd July for a turn but it could be sooner so I'm watching and looking for a setup Volume is not too clear for me but 56 is key because it bugged me so mutch on Friday lol Good luck all

BRN looks bullish as well, might see 64.20 last thurs high, WTI has a symmetry target in 57.50 area looks like it's going for it

I have a bit of a conflict between the frames, I need to walk away else I'll just jump in a maybe regret it ..holding on to my 40 pieces of silver for now

Walk away ... create a trade plan and follow it. The trade plan will prevent you from those impulse entries we all have from time to time (and mostly cost us money )

I might take the retest of 56,4x if that happens else taking other opportunities.

WTI RALLIES HARD TO TEST $ 57 MARK ON ESCALATING GULF TENSIONS

  1. Rising UK-Iran geopolitical tensions risk supply disruption, oil jumps.
  2. Stronger USD, Libyan output resumption to limit the gains?
  3. Next of relevance is the US supply report, as the focus stays on trade and geopolitics.

The latest upsurge in WTI (futures on Nymex) gained further traction in the European session, as the oil bulls take on the 57 handle, supported by the supply disruption concerns amid escalating Gulf crisis.
Last week’s seizure of the two British tankers by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz further fuelled the already rife Middle East tensions, with the UK now weighing responses to the issue with few good options. Mounting Gulf tensions threaten supply disruption, as the Hormuz Strait is oil’s key trade way.
However, the gains appear limited by a broadly stronger US dollar, as markets price-out a 50bps Fed rate hike next week. A stronger greenback makes the USD-sensitive oil expensive for the holders in foreign currencies.
Further, the resumption of the output at the Libyan main oilfield, Sharara, also weighs in on the black gold’s latest upmove. “The Sharara oilfield resumed production at half capacity on Monday after being shut down since Friday, which caused an output loss of about 290,000 barrels per day (bpd),” Reuters reports.
Looking ahead, markets await some clarity on the US-China trade talks and the US weekly crude supplies report for fresh impetus while Gulf tensions will continue to remain the main driver.

Hi all, hope your well, Still have WTI in a down trend however the 4hr has produced an up signal, how valid I'm not sure as they do happen, on a 50/50 still favour down, the fact the price has not zoomed up leaves concern as to how world issues are really affecting the price situation.
Had a few trades made this morning, think adjustments are needed to my break even level, still, a profit is a profit,D

How far each side of 56 ?

Seems to me 56 is the dogs thingies at the moment

It was bugging me last week as well

We have a positive slant on volume for now but not by much.

Thanks Li, currently have 5 on the boil at the moment, seems my BE level may be a little tight, the USD/MXN would have been worth holding over the weekend, (hindsight) all said a small profit is moving in the right direction, just need a fine tuneD
