EU has become a quick in, quick out pair. Cannot count how many scalps I have taken today. In and out, like a rabbit. With speeches coming up next we may see spikes like yesterday again.

It's been a bit of a bucking bronco this week after a promising start. Definitely nimble fingers needed to scratch anything out of it.

Even the crosses have been stuck in a tight range. Let's hope for more volume next week.

Just got COT report for the week ended on July 16:

Institutions cut their net short positions to the lowest level since Oct 30 2018 after Powell's testimonies at Capital Hill. Institutions re-evaluated the chance of 25 or 50 bps rate cut on July 31.

The closing price on that day was 1.1209

12,089 long contracts were added, and 7,575 short contracts were added as well. Now Longs total 170,487 contracts vs shorts total 201,838 contracts

46% long exposure vs 54% short exposure, which 1% increased in longs and 1% decreased in shorts from the previous week
