I think a good broker should be well regulated, and have quick deposit and withdrawal options. Although I wish there wouldn't be withdrawal fees every time I withdraw...
Ignored
The main thing when it comes to brokers is the regulations the specific broker has. So many trading platforms have very unique regulations and sometimes they cannot be trusted because they are newly created. To me the most important thing is the withdrawal process, the faster the widthrawal process the better it is. So, you have to go through all the review websites to check them out, specially the websites that let people comment about if they are have been scammed by any trading platform. I did a research for around 3 weeks before I chose my broker. I chose two brokers for two difference purposes. One is really good for scalping and they other is good for scalping and intraday, but I mainly use it for intraday because of the no swap and commission.

I'm new to the forum, so I guess I can't post a new thread. But I'm looking for a little advice, maybe a more experienced member can help point me in the right direction.

I'm looking to get into Forex trading with a practice account while I attempt to hone a strategy. I would like to attempt the millipede equity strategy posted by Pipeasy several years ago. The first problem is that FXCM is banned for me (I'm in the United States). That was the broker that Pipeasy recommended.

So I am hoping for a little advice. The first thing the broker must do is have a similar method of accounting, where each trade is bought and sold separated rather than aggregated. I don't know what this distinction is called, but basically every long and short position is held and covered separately, rather than being aggregated into a final profit/loss pool. Can someone tell me what that is called, so that I can at least search for brokers that allow it?

I appreciate the help.

My advise would be with any broker : don`t look at the minimum spread they offer, but at the maximum. Im with Axitrader and got burned couple times not looking at the spread before buy/sell. Sunday evening I got 22 pips spread on CADCHF. During office hours its good, but evening trading...

Best Broker based current personal experience? Considerations: 1. Most important: ease and speed of withdrawals 2. Spread/Liquidity 3. Online back office: ease of moving funds in and out of multiple trading accounts 4. overall professionalism and quality of service. 5. Withdrawals to a broker branded MasterCard/Visa cash/debit card if available. 6. Others I missed?
Ignored
Missing are platforms, commissions, server stability, ECN account.
In my personal experience, coinexx crosses all these list except 5th point, they only support crypto payment system along with stable coins.

platforms, commissions, server stability, ECN account are assumed in selecting a good broker because without those chances are one is not going to have sustained profits with the broker... most important to me their accounting... are they going to send your profits to your banking accounts when you request a withdrawal and are they going to do it without screwing around...specifically larger minimum 4, 5 and 6 figure withdrawals. Crypto only brokers are still uncharted territory, but interesting nonetheless.

Happy trading with AMP Global. I have been with them for a longtime. They are well regulated both US and Europe. Their withdraw process is good. Solid leverage and good spreads. They're also cheap! Any questions I had were resolved relatively quickly. They offer a lot of products and you can do any strategy. They have my recommendation all day.

There may be more important factors in selecting a broker other than leverage like whether it is a dealer(market maker) or performs ECN execution, but after ESMA regulation last year in Europe, leverage became for me the most important one. Which ECN brokers would you recommend (other than Pepperstone) who offers around 1:400.

I got accounts with JustForex, XM, IG, Hotforex, FXopen,
FXopen tops them all by a wide margin.
I have a professional account.
1:500 below 25000
1:200 below 10000
1:100 > 100000
Tiered commissioning!. NO other MT4 broker offers this.
No limit on contract size !

True ECN within MetaTrader limitations.
Reminder:
MT4 is mostly a and b Book hybrid. Large orders are a-book small b-book. Cutoff: ~$3000
A-Book trade loosing: switched to B-Book > profits go to broker
A-Book trade winning: > STP to ECN, bridge > aggreg. > LQ > broker
B-Book winning: <10 pips: broker trades against this trade: increase execution, inc. spread, inc drawdown ...
B-Book winning >10 pips: > A-Book
B-Book loosing: broker takes losses of retailer

Try turnkey forex, they are ECN broker and offer leverage up to 500X.
