*I AM NOT AN EXPERT, I DONT SELL ANYTHING, I HAVENT INVENTED ANY TRADING SYSTEM, I AM NOT A GURU, I AM NOT TRYING TO CREATE A FOLLOWING.
*I AM 22 YO AS OF 2019. I AM CONSTANT LEARNER, I DONT MAKE BOATLOADS OF MONEY, I STILL LIVE WITH MY PARENTS(AS OF 2019)
*If I have made any mistake or comments which you may not agree to it is not my problem.
the person reading this might be a pro trader, I respect all of you and I admire to attain your level.
I won't be ranting again after this. Keeping it all positive.

The first post will be updated later with files and other updates.
Also, I am not here to pitch anything to anyone. I declare that I will never try to promote anything now or in the future.

okay Real Talk
It takes quite a lot of time to actually trade profitably. Some take a year to acquire the skill, some need at least three years, some never stop learning, some keep on changing their strategy, some quit,

It took me 3 years. Everything I have done in the last three years:

  1. Getting to know various concepts
  2. Learning new software
  3. Got scammed and spotted scams
  4. Enrolled in two forex courses
  5. learned many strategies
  6. watched many youtube videos
  7. Tried and tested various INDICATORS and Settings
  8. Tried a few EA's
  9. I tried to build one of my own EA and backtested it (Not happy of the results, but this is on my to-do list)
  10. Started few threads stayed active on forums

OKAY!! A rough journey. I don't know if everyone goes through the same route!

QUESTION Am I profitable now at least after all these years?
- YES!!!!!!!!

I now trade manually with the simplest tools available to everyone. I am decent at picking trades.

QUESTION What do strategy do I use to trade???
answer:- Make sure to buy when I anticipate that price will move even higher
Make sure to Sell when I anticipate that price will move even lower

TAHTS IT!!!
TOOLS I USE TO SUPPORT ME

  1. Normal CandleSticks - To represents price and also view them in different timeframes
  2. Pivot Points - I just feel more confident to enter exit around these levels
  3. Currency strength data - To find some currency to trade or else I will worry which currency to trade the entire day and never trade.

Trade decisions are made based on using these tools. The only reason I took too long to master this skill was that I lacked discipline and I didn't want to be rich, I never wanted to make money since I already was making money with my other business.

QUESTION So was three years really required to actually learn this skill and was it so much necessary?
answer:- YES!!! I couldn't have been here without all of that.
WHEN YOU START IN THIS MARKET YOU ARE ACTUALLY THOUGHT THE WRONGS FIRST. YOU LEARN THE MISTAKES FIRST, YOU NEVER LEARN THE RIGHT WAY BECAUSE THERE DOESNT EXISTS A RIGHT WAY. so all those years were worth it?

Final question: Why this thread?
I want to document my trading.
I tried Evernote etc.. I don't like them. I like documenting and interacting. So FF was my favorite choice.

I will post more stuff here for the of documenting my journey a trades you can hop on if you trade similar way.

Thanks for the reading champ.
Have a nice day.

I am really impressed by the amount of content is present in this forum. I am constantly learning something new every day. I am following the Pivot trading thread started by Davit very closely. Since their style is a little different to mine. I don't want to post on their thread. I will post here.
THIS IS THE THREAD I AM FOLLOWING. If you want to learn please go there you have more than 1500 pages of free knowledge and people to help you out. They actually seem to trade far better than me.

I may not be very active but I will try.

This is a copy of what I posted there. The forecast for the coming week. I will be making changes and building positions and patterns based on these weekly forecasts.
On Wednesdays, I will try to find out what's wrong and find out any possible changes to be made. Everything is for my personal journaling don't ask me for my results because I am not asking for your money. I am here to learn by myself using the resources of this forum. This is a forum free to post trading related items.

The images contain the analysis for the next week.

The system works. Pivots have a long history. Also, you can backtest manually and experience it for yourself. That thread has many other people who are helping others. You just have to take in the information. Ignore all the other noises
