Here it is... version 1.5 on EURUSD M15 (default settings) attached to main post

  1. All MAs must be climbing, for buys, or falling for sells.
  2. Added a settings of the minimum number of pips between the MAs. If MAs are closer to each other than that amount of pips, order is not placed.

very good , but what is the period of test ? (1 year - 6 months .....)

It's from the beginning of 2018 till today, so that's 1 year and 7 months on M15.
Help me out, here. I have the EA in the correct folder and I have the Sextet indy in the correct folder. However, the EA will not run in my tester, as shown in the journal report, which states the indy cannot be opened. What is the problem?

Give this a try and let me know if it solves it.

Same problem with the new version: indicator won't open. I can manually put it on the chart in the tester and watch the arrows, but the file still can't be opened by the EA. BTW, per the attached screen grab, why is Market shown as part of the indicator path? Can you post the indy with a straight path to the indicators folder, without the Market reference? Just thinking out loud as to why it's not working. I also tried running the EA on my demo account and get the same warning.

Thank you for this EA, but is there possibility to change lot size, i was playing with margin in inputs but it influenced only on more or less trades it opens

When you download the indicator from the market it goes directly in the "Market" subfolder of the "Indicators" folder. That's why it's not working for you. Have you manually removed it from the "Market" folder?

It's there because that's where everyone else has the indicator so if I change it will not be working for everyone else. Try manually creating the "Market" folder inside "indicators" and move The Sextet into it.

Yes you're right that's a good idea, dunno how I forgot that! I will add two input lines:
1-fixed lot
2-percentage of balance

That way we could play around with the lot sizes and see what kinda results we get

Bingo! When I downloaded the indy, it was automatically placed in a MT4 platform I no longer use. I extracted the indy from Market, which, obviously didn't work. I went back to the platform and copied the Market folder and pasted it into the indy folder in my tester platform. Always nice when things work out.
The EA is more robust with eurusd than gbpusd. Eurusd made money in 2017, but gbpusd ended at a loss. 2018 was a good year for both pairs.

Yes 1.5 is the current version of the EA, which uses the indicator which is still in it's first version 1.0

Here it is version 1.6 with two new parameters:
1-fixed lot size which is self explanatory
2-percent of balance: if set to zero, fixed lot size above is used, otherwise, the lot size is calculated according to the percentage specified. For example if you set it to 2 percent with a balance of 1000, that would be 20$. The lot size is calculated so that when your SL is hit, you lose 20$.

What kind of error are you getting? Maybe it's downloading to a different metatrader than the one you have open, like what happened with ChicagoRob
Big difference in performance between v1.51 and v1.6. v1.51 banked more pips, has a better profit factor and lower draw down. Both EAs run at default with the same lot size, with same start/stop of 0-23 hrs.
