kind of pissed off. i wanted to break profitfarmer's record so bad. it's my mission in life now, aside from being a multimillion cme trader.

well, 26 is the record. can't take any day for granted

less than perfect read this week. Tuesday and even today i was a bit off. The range then breakout action confused the fuck out of me..

OK guys, made the decision to move my thread over to elitetrader forum. There are pros and cons to this

pro
1. elitetrader has more futures trading content than forexfactory. Just in the last couple of months when the micros rolled out, i learned quite a bit about the futures market mechanics from few posters there. Plus, my broker (along with other popular futures brokers) sponsors that site, so i get updates on what's going on in the futures industry/new markets. I remember when cme was down for couple of hours during asian session, and i found out what was going on from that site (and futures.io). Plus the updates on real trading platforms instead of this fucking degenerate platform most people use here MT4..

2. i feel like elitetrader has more relevant information for futures trader. Stuff like regulations, prop firms, cme rules..it's all there if you dig

3. it's not forex focused. That in itself is a plus. Being in this forum doesn't makes sense for me anymore. Especially 99% of people here trade OTC forex. If it was on the cme exchange, than maybe i can say.hmm, there's info i can learn. But fuck, everybody trades with shit ass brokers with varying pricing/spread. How the hell you people justify this shit (see fractalfreak and george's podcast when they interact on gaps..ITS HILARIOUS). Anyway, I read threads on trading discussion but it's all forex centric. Forex is a different market altogether and i feel like i am fed with irrelevant info as opposed to learning about regulated markets like futures/equities/options

4. more popular than futures io. i was thinking of going to that forum, but my god, that forum is a fucking ghost town. no more than 50 people viewing each section at a time. Not a lot of updates/content to learn about. And that's one of my focus in forum (besides the entertainment value) is the quality and frequency of content.

1. elitetrader is so extended in terms of topics they have for discussion. one of the things i like about forexfactory is the simple UI. few sections make it easy to browse. Until lately, when some fucking asshole at forexfactory decides it's a good idea to make additional forums focused on metals, energy, crypto. Whoever that person is, fire that motherfucker

2. elitetrader is still full of assholes and wannabes and clueless "pros". I don't know if this shoudl be a con, cause it's the same here, and same everywhere else. But they do still have people posting pnl, and to me that's a plus.

so with that, i'm going to start a thread over at elitetrader with the same title, and transfer over the relevant posts over.

Down to $20k but then turned $10k into $17k in a month or two. Branching out into many enterprises.
