I thought I am starting to understand what you are talking earlier.
The price is struggling in the previous support and resistance region
It is hard to predict whether it go south or north for newbie like me, so better stay away until the trend is established

The Day chart is showing the uptrend so if I want to go long I should wait until it hits the bottom of channel?

I read the posts master arjun posted but I cant completely catch what they were doing cuz I start reading it in 2018 and they were long gone, Thank you so much for teaching a newbie like me. Can I know why you started to reply this post lately?

Can I ask about which one is your killer candle in H1 to short this pair, is it the 1st fall (fall after clean shave head), or the 2nd fall (after the 10 ema pointing downward) ???

First of all - you just cannot analyze structure just by look at few candles formation. You need more input to do full analysis.

Find a good book to read about structure.

Secondly, that's not RBR as you marked it.

It is DBR ( Supply zone being ignored). Price will come back to the zone later.

Where are we?


Use the 4 hour time-frame to analyze your chart and you don’t have to spend too much time on H4.


Basically, you just want to get a feeling for the overall market direction and if there are any major price levels ahead.


Especially long-term support and resistance or weekly or annual highs and lows should be marked on your charts

Finding confluence areas on our charts can be very helpful when looking for turning points or breakouts into new trends. In my trading,


Use support/resistance or supply/demand to identify such high impact areas.


Look for obvious swing highs and lows and multi-touch support and resistance.


Then, use your own setups and signals to time trades according to your strategy.


Draw a few support and resistance zones into the price chart below and you can see how those help us make much more sense of charts.



See how price struggles at the same areas and how breakouts can lead to great new trades.


It’s important that you don’t let your charts become too messy and recommend to only look at the most recent price action and only focus on the biggest levels.


Don't use too many zones and go back way too long.

Try to first clean your chart a bit.

Predicting price is not only hard for newbie but for all.

For the trend it all depends which time frame you look at, daily chart for instance is not showing any uptrend.

Price made a double top, M pattern, you missed your short already, might react on the last lows which would give a triple bottom, a big maybe, watch for a daily candlestick pattern, that is the only structure to watch, not a broken overlapping low on H4 that you called RBR and especially not a MA.

Thx for the selfless teaching. My narrow thought blocked me to see this kinds of whole picture. I am training my eyes to see deeper. Here is a good place to learn because of you guys generous teachings.

You are welcome, even if I think no thanks needed, it is actually the basics.

My advice would be to keep it simple, without many indicators (preferably none) that only add confusions, and read as many miles of chart as possible.

I am studying the trade of yours to train my eyes.
From the chart, I see a demand zone which created by the previous RBR and DBR. Therefore, we are suppose to look for buyer if the H1 chart showing a signal of entry.
Can you comment on this analysis plz? Any missing pieces in the picture?
