LOL Most people dont make money trading TA either. So why dont you tell all the TA practitioners that it does not work. I used to think like you when I was 15 yrs old. Ever hear Carl Sagan say we are all starstuff? This is suprascience. And yes I would know given I am a research scientist. Shouldn't you be buying or selling based on a stochastic about now.

If by "Gann Lines" you mean 1x1, 2x1, 4x1...as far as I understand those are a measure of strength, usually called "angles". I agree with jnevins here; cycles deal with time.

The time counted by Fibo also works. The planetary movement is time and the planetary distances also respect the laws of Fibonacci.
Why would not the price of the highest world indexes also do it?

Six times it has worked five times. I bet on a new turning point. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.

maybe add to the knowledge of all you, I do the count gain to the eye, and they come up with the yellow hammers of greater times, as in case Eur / usd the main is in the week, and the others I marked in H1, that price wants to have a escape, and the elliot waves emerge only in the gann lines by what I perceive.

Other USDJPY charts. 1D, ZT NY.

The technique consists in looking for markets where the Fibo sequences have worked best. This is testable with Excel.

Then you have to count by hand the last 25 sequences. If we see that they are working in recent times, we can find the turning point quite accurately.
If we search the astrological software for the dates of turning points, we can find which planets are working best.

Example:
In the DJIA the oppositions of the Moon with Jupiter are usually bearish, but with Saturn they tend to be bullish.
Unfortunately the edge that astrology provides is too weak to be able to trade calmly.

Therefore, we have to work with several different systems to make sure when looking for the turning point.
The patterns of Fibonacci, Pasavento, Gaterley, Market Profile, etc ... usually work quite well.

I insist one more time. First we have to look for the turning point in time. Then we made sure with other systems.
In Darwinex there are quite a few Spaniards working in this way. Although they do not say how they do it. But they are usually quite profitable.

The EURUSD still sees it as immature to trade.
I'll wait a couple of days.

I like the GBPJPY chart today.
Charts:
1. Possible turning point for Fibo.
2. Today there is an eclipse and it is New Moon.
3. In the Market Profile, VPOs are quite high.
4. There is also a Shark bullish pattern.

I think GBPUSD is ending 2/3 week cycle...so as GBPJPY, low Tomorrow or 3/4 days after today
today number 10 from previous low
day number 10 is exception to the rule,in my view

Yes, but be mindful you are also talking about time here. Then again, if you combine time and price, via angles and time cycles, you can forecast price targets. But I think this is much more involved than what I thought the other poster was referring to.

If I understood your chart alright, you didn't count the low on May 23rd as the bottom. May I ask why? Are you only using closing prices? Again, Why?

I am not being facetious, I am genuinely interested.

All these cycles can be fibo, planetary, random or I do not know what the cause is. But the important thing is that they work.
In 1D charts you see everything better.

Your understanding is incorrect.
Gann used these lines as an overlay on this charts to see where support or resistance was.
But he also used it to target certain price levels.

If you draw a chart and put the Gann lines on the chart you can clearly see that price sometimes trades at the same level as the lines, so clearly no strength or weakness indication there.
Why do you think Gann put som much effort in the exact location and scaling of the lines? Just to indicate strength or lack thereof? No of course not, for that I can just draw a S/R line. He did it so to be exact on the price target.

Zizoo, you are correct in saying that the alignment of Titan with the moon has no correlation to the forex market.
However, the esoteric studies of the speculative markets have a firm foundation in science, although not recognized as such by modern science.

Does it directly affect price? Well, some say it does, but one could argue that planets don't buy currency but humans and their computers do. So men are affected by these forces and they then set the prices accordingly.
Anyway, I am getting carried away. Before the introduction of modern science, about 130 years ago, the field of astrology, which is astronomy with a human/spiritual interpretation, kind of like religion but different (or is it?), was an accepted field of study. But modern science successfully destroyed that image because of the great amount of soothsayers who wanted money for a good horoscope, kind of like the church. Well religion survived this attack for a long time but astrology did not. The field of astrology is not helped by all the b*llshit horoscopes that are printed in the papers and magazines either. (and they are hokum).
But that doesn't mean that it doesn't have any merit whatsoever. Like everything, there is some truth to it, but you need to dig a little deeper.
However, take it for what it is, if its not for you then don't use it.
And for the people who do, well, its a speculative and random market, so in that argument any system is as good as the next. if anything its a great cultural and life learning experience. Thanks.

Those who despise astrology are ignorant and lazy.
In order to convert theory into science, what must be done is to compare the planetary movement with historical prices. With that is enough. But it gives a lot of astronomical calculation work and most people do not have time or they do not feel like it.



BUND 1.988 to 2.008.
The orbits of the Moon are very different from the orbits of the other planets. However, the price behavior is very similar.
The Sun is the only one that behaves differently from apogee to perigee.
A medieval astrologer would say that the planets symbolize money and the Sun the product. Therefore, the farther planets are, the greater the price. Because money loses its value.
While the Sun would symbolize the product. Therefore, the greater the proximity of the Earth, the greater its value. Because it has more gravity and more light.
I have done hundreds of studies of this type in all markets. Always working.
