A minimum of knowledge of what Support and Resistance are.

No... They try! constantly gambling... They shoot in the void... and they call it a Rescue 1 and 2....
and 1-1-2 is a Rescue sequence that one pump in.

I said to fti about a trade of mine: "I learnt here on TAF!"... Are we sure? It seems we don't speak the same language.
Or it is a question of "Ego" again?

It is time to give up. There is no possibility of discussion. No possibility to understand each other.

To me? These are two consequences of a wrong approach to Trading and Trading Education that students have...

What I think on the matter and what I tried to deliver (with all my passion) are in the pages of two honest and sincere threads.
I see nothing that needs to be added to the concepts of "Trend definition", "Advanced Dow", "Basic Elliott" and "Moral Law."
"Comprehension of Price Behaviour" is one thing and "Trading Techiniques" another!
Markets are not random.
Trading is not esoterism.
Trading has a great history: no need to reinvent the wheel or the warm water!

To survive and grow within a complex, ever changing world of conflict,
it is necessary to have insight and vision, focus and direction.

To that end, Col. John Boyd posits and postulates, we must effectively and efficiently orient ourselves;
that is, we must quickly and accurately develop mental images, or schema,
to help comprehend and cope with the vast array of threatening and non-threatening events we face!

Without the context of orientation all observations would be meaningless.
Orientation is a complex set of filters and shaping mechanisms
made of, created by
> genetic heritage,
> cultural predispositions,
> personal experience, and
> knowledge.

Orientation both shapes Observations and is the lens through which one makes sense of Observations.
We are talking about the uniqueness of each person’s capabilities and limitations.

> Cultural predispositions - refer to the set of learned behaviors during the formative years of life resulting from one’s place and position in the world.
> Personal experience - represents a catalog of all of the learned behaviour since the formative years peculiar to each individual.
> Knowledge – represents information, understanding, or skills acquired throughout a collective awareness of associations,
and knowledge can also be synonymous with memory.

Simplify all that is a huge mistake.

I dare not fall sleep while in position OR while waiting for a potential trade (it's a serious business , with deadly occupational hazard that I'm growing to fear and respect MORE)
where all this leisure time coming from I'm thinking out loud, mastery of their craft or ignorance to the ever changing "sometimes hostile" environment oh well each to their own.

They are unredeemable, loser is always a loser UNTIL they themselves seek the truth.

*Given their leisure time you'd think they'd do time "thinking" and "reflecting" but guess not. Stubborn is a potent trait of a typical loser.

The entire OODA loop represents a multifaceted learning and feedback framework.
Orientation represents the heart of all the process.

I'm talking of orientation as the interaction of lenses, models, or schemata. (Pre-planned, pre-worked sequences!)
Gann, Livermore, Wyckoff and Schabacker were talking of LAWS and LEVELS: victorious, mutating and defeated forms.
Someone else imagines (and dreams of?) a sort of Constant Averaging/Hedging...
up to "Rogue" Trading that they call Tsunami and I call simply Inversion.

Incompatible Universes. One eliminates the other.

And as I understood pattern recognition is the main tool for accurate description of orientation and if I'm not wrong I'm going backwards

Of course it was Linda Ratschke who took me to Col. Boyd
and I was very impressed by the work of this man and the Marines Corp on the matter.

Analysis is a careful study of a whole by studying its parts.
We can see it as an effort to explain the meaning of something through resolving complex expressions into simpler ones.

Boyd talks about this process of differentiation and destruction in his "Destruction and Creation".
He described a systematic process of moving from general to specific.

Analysis is related to understanding.
Synthesis, on the other hand is defined as the composition or combination of parts or elements so as to form a whole.
Boyd referred to this process as creation,
moving from specific to general, the same way that information leads to knowledge, and then to wisdom.
Synthesis is related to creativity.

The destruction of existing and the creation of new mental patterns permit one to both shape and be shaped by a changing environment.

Analysis and synthesis of new information compared to existing mental models produces a hypothesis that must be tested and further refined through continuous feedback.
