What about getting past 1400.xx first? This may not happen today, but we will have to see. Gold in my home currency (AUD) is making all time highs it seems, with AUD$2010+, so we can perhaps expect some sort of pullback.

yes, next perhaps 1416.xx, 1424.xx then 1431.xx but no certainty and pullback are on the cards right? so far, few far in between…. I use the same currency! just moved to Sydney from beautiful Adelaide.

Hi bud. Sorry about the losses, but it's part of the game we all loose a shackle here. Tend too look at the charts on daily, 4 hourly and hourly charts as opposed to pre empting what ma happen the week ah ad or months ahwead......Some issues to consider, selling this pair hasn't been a bad idea given where prices are, but we need to do it with caution because bullish momentum has been strong so any sell setups shouldn be approached with a sell and hold mindsets, unless you position size is small and your account can hold the pressure, but my idea of sells has been to take partial profit when price drops and move stops to BE, further more buying dips as and when they revert to the mean has been profitable......the fundamentals and uncertainty has been driving this pair higher.Trade safe and be cautious with position size bud

I have been traded without stop loss 2 years, but left that strategy because it some times take all what you earned.
I can give you some advice by your position, but you should trade and don't just watching how market is taking your money.

1. You trade against daily time-frame(TF), that why you should wait for points on higher TF. It more probovli is doing exit from big range.
On dayly chart price can go to 1440 - it's first staation where this shortbus will stop.

If price will go to 1440 and after that can be pulback, you should open one more short there and close it on test that support, what will have formed.
For Example

but open short better just when price will stop and make some accumulation.

2. trade on less TF, 15 min for example.

You are waiting for some local reversal and open short on test. BUT!!!! This trade against balance you have to trade with stop, otherwise you will lock more and more deeply

That position what you have now, you should keep and after normal trade your entered price will pick up and once you will get your money back.

Trade with stop-loss it's more safely and professionally. We come to the market for make money, but not for feed it.
