Both this thread and the general forum. This place is like the wild wild west. To wild for my tastes.

Just tuned in to practice spotting set ups. Didn't have time to trade this morning, too many distractions (all good ones). Late session 1-2-3 with 2B.
It looked like there was one or 2 others on the way down and back up within this overall setup, but I had missed them as they occurred.
good luck,
regards

My last 'Live' trading day didn't go very well, for some reason i was out of synch again and kept chasing where the price had already been and should have either been a grab or protection as a minimum. Instead, i had several losers in a row before calling it a day.

That was a couple of weeks ago and from memory about -45 with 7 comms.

I just looked in again just now and decided to take the plunge again. This time, i noticed much more from the 133 tick chart (my old fave).

I got a lovely little counter-spike from a previous Demand and felt the thrill of banking 25 ticks, well... that was until i realised it was switched back to Sim mode. Oooops. Damn. Again, the Micro doesn't amount to much in monetary terms, but it still gives those same feelings, between wins and losses;

I only took one trade as well! I really thought i had just pulled back half of my previous bad session!

Note the Profile line of yesterdays HOD being roughly where previous Supply lay after a fresh LL and retest. Could have been a great trade to chance it and let it run to fresh lows

Well, to me, all we need be looking out for is the prior S/D levels. Yes there are the losers among them (eg the top one in the chart below), but that then signified a larger change of trend and that same level; became a short instead of a long;

Picked up plus 9 on one trade this morning. I must say the second video was very helpful. Thanks D. Still need to work on spotting setups and entry confidence, but
it is improving. Couple of charts including one I missed entries on a couple of times, wasn't sure if bears or bulls in control at that point.
good luck,
regards

I have a query into my broker to verify, but it looks like tmro is a rollover day for when the Sept 19 emini's begin trading.

You can check the volume at 9:30est and see which one has the most volume rolling through for sure.
I loaded some treasuries just for fun and Sierra chart platform was already saying to switch them to Sep

Logged in, quickly changed back to June contract cos nothing happening with Sep yet!

Grabbed a quick +13, was too aggressive with stop chase, but seeing as it's the 13th today, it only seems right to do!

Yes, Sept looked a bit thin to me as well. Managed +4 but was waaaay to quick on the close. My entries are manual limit orders as are the stops, so when a
trade hits, I either have to enter a limit order to target my expected gain, (covering both ends of the trade) or be lazy and watch it move in my favor, hopefully,
and close manually. Been choosing the latter to poorer than expected results. Good trade on your part.
