Disliked{quote} @pipcruiser -- thanks for the good word. It is much appreciated. Yes -- an alert function when ADR hits X percent would be simple to add. I will add that later today.Ignored
Thanks!

Disliked{quote} Hey @skyway -- thanks for the compliment. I think we've come full-circle. Are you referring to the MM-TmaTrue-M1 indicator? Since @Nih98's comment I've updated that indicator to use his settings as the default and exposed user input for colors and ATR settings.Ignored
DislikedThis is a continuation of post #2475 where I explained the role of the ADR indicator. In this post I will explain how I use the TMA indicator. First -- not all TMA indicators are created equal. For example, there are TMA indicators that repaint and those that do not. There is nothing inherently wrong with repainting and it may actually suit certain applications. However, in our case, repainting is not desirable. I've tested a number of non-repainting TMA indicators and my favorite is the one @Nih98 has made available. The name of his TMA indicator...Ignored
DislikedThanks for the PM Steve. I have thought about what happened yesterday on Georges's thread and I would like to take the opportunity to respond to you here. My personal opinion is that I think we saw the best and worst in human psyche. I have been involved in other forums, trading and non-trading related. If each and every forum the world over was analysed, we would see the same course of events There would be genuine members, non-genuine members, Guru's, charlatans, trolls...and the ratio of genuine people to non-genuine, the ratio of Gurus to Charlatans...Ignored

Disliked{quote} {quote} I've uploaded a modified version of the MM-ADRHistIndi indicator that includes an "alerts" feature. You can find it over at the other thread "Custom Indicators for TMA-ADR Reversal Trading and BBMA". Here's a link: https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=920925 {image} The buttons in the lower-right corner are used to adjust the fraction of the ADR at which an alert occurs. When that fraction of ADR is reached a blue, dotted line is drawn on the chart and the Alert dialog box pops up with a message. Alerts can be...Ignored

Disliked{quote} {quote} @George and @moodybot -- thank you for your posts. You guys are expert traders and gentlemen. I have learned a lot from you both. Andy -- yes, you posted a chart but you also, once again, reminded everyone that indicators are useless. I'm sure you've noticed that as a rookie trader all I have to offer are indicators. So, once again, you remind me and everyone else out there that not only do I have nothing to offer, but what little I can offer is useless. How many times do you have to keep saying that? And, @George, you have a great...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hey, I resemble that.....the "old" part. Thanks so much for the updated indi. In addition to the nice confluence on the GC sell today, notice how the GJ never overextended the ADR and was stuck in a very small range.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi R4M, With the Multipair version will that have 2 sub charts with each pair in one of the sub charts (but shown on the same Main chart = Pair A chart)? If not how do you overcome the different Axis, e.g. both pairs trading different Daily range of pips, but displayed in the same sub chart or even within the Main chart? or does it not matter because the Maths is calculated using the data from the other pair (Pair B) which is not the pair where the indicator is loaded (Pair A) before being applied to the Indicator Also will you be able to...Ignored
