Last week's performance with no open trades: 105.73$

The EA is pretty good actually. Only sometimes the Drawdown can get a bit high.

H1, RSI period 5, TF1400. When I have a BUY signal (from another indicator) and rsi is below 30 I do not enter; closing BUY when RSI falls below 30

So how would you apply that logic when creating a straddle on the trigger bar?

EA trading consists of small profits and catastrophic losses.

A poor week last week due to the interference issue I spoke of in post #1 - a $2 loss on the week.

A couple of weeks later...no more losing trades and some nice profits in the past couple of weeks. Some lost opportunities as well due to power outages at my home when we were all away for several days with the trading PC powered off and no trade taken as a result.

I will be springing for a UPS in the next few weeks to keep the system up & running - alternative is to use a 3rd party VPS and I don't trust them. Since it is only a dedicated desktop and router I will be buying a CyberPower Value SOHO 2200 VA / 1320 Watts UPS. In Aus that comes to AUD$320 but will keep me up and running for several hours based on my power usage.

I spent the past few weeks playing with partial close scenarios but could not find any that improved the profit. All of the scenarios I tried resulted in fewer trades and reduced returns.

Last 4 trades successful with 36, 8, 14 & 21 pips gained respectively.
