I found the Metals Mine (MM) web site (https://www.metalsmine.com (https://www.metalsmine.com/)) and as the name implies it’s devoted to trading metals as compared to Forex Factory (FF) that is devoted to trading currency pairs. MM is run by the same dedicated people that run Forex Factory (FF) and I can only say that I’m very impressed. The forum directory is the same at the one of FF but contains a lot less threads. For example the MM trading systems thread has only 33 systems while FF has 2,971. For people that like to trade gold and silver you might want to take a look at this:

XAU/USD & XAG/USD - Gold & Silver Traders Thread https://www.metalsmine.com/showthread.php?t=222032

Of course MM is not only for people that trade gold and silver but also for those who trade platinum, palladium and copper. MM is a great site to diversify your currency trading by adding metals and is also ideal for those who want to learn how to trade metals. I'm sure that most systems used to trade currency pairs can be successfully applied to trading metals or with slight tweaking. As a result, if you want to make your mark, post your system and trading ideas to MM using the same ID and password that you’re presently using for FF. Have a nice weekend all.

Absolutely do not do what he has just said...if you register with the same ID then he has stole your credentials for FF.

Sorry to say but you don't understand the English language or cannot read it properly. Show me where I said that you must register to the MM site. You cannot show me because I never wrote that. The fact is that you don't have to register because if you're registered to FF you're also registered to MM so you don't have to register again.

I did post it in many locations because I want the MM site to succeed as well as FF. The biggest thing it lacks are trading systems this is why I encourage people to post their systems. I'm a trader not a commercial member so I did not receive and will not receive any money for posting about what I think will become a great site for metal traders once people post their systems. Since we both trade using the TMT system you might want to improve it for metal trading and post it in MM. By the way the only metal I trade is silver since it stays within a very tight range. Since the end of February the range has been between $14.25 to $15.50 so it's less risky than trading anything else.

Answering Buba Yaga in another thread as to why I had posted the above post in many location I stated:

There are a few coders such as reteid22 that are on the MM site but it definitely needs more programmers. Have a nice weekend all.

Marecki does your system works for trading metals? If so please post it in the MM site. I think your system would work for trading silver since it has a tight range as seen in the chart

Please take a look at this you might want to post your system to the MM site since it desperately needs more systems

Hi Ata,

You told me that trading EURUSD is enough for you since trading more pairs would require more chart analysis and it takes time. The MM site has only a few systems so it would be best if someone would conduct the same analysis as the one you make although I cannot see how anyone can be better than you at this. Do you know a trader that would be willing to open a system thread and conduct such analysis for metals?

Gold pulls back to the 1267 zone where we can find the 200 week EMA, the 55 month EMA and the 200 day EMA. The zone may act as a support. To the downside, the 1200 level may act as support and to the upside, the 1300 level may act as resistance.

Forex not the only show in town - recent XAU/USD (last candle Friday close 31-May-2019) - all indicators, with exception of posted, can be found in - Phylo profile/Images - https://www.forexfactory.com/search.php?searchid=18795498 - (link may break after post upload)

No template available - chart illustrative of recent discussed indicators.

Tip to new traders:

  1. If a trade fails by one candle or at a hard stop exit position. If two failed trades are suffered in UK or any session stop trading and asses for next session. The next trade may go without you but in the long run capital will be preserved-conserved and the account survives to trade another day. It may be a case of stop trading the instrument for the day, days or week/s. Failure to ruthlessly limit losses leads to - 'crying all the way to the bank'. -> Limiting losses implies STOP trading - reassess - not accumulating 'consecutive' or 'near consecutive' limited losses that amount to a substantial loss.
  2. If you miss the train (trade) try catch it at a next legitimate station at the correct time of arrival - rushing a moving train will result in casualty or death. The analogy should not be hard to figure.
  3. Don't include margin in risk management calculations - especially under ESMA - and do not be fooled by risk management code that does. Margin is dead meat - nonworking trading capital - broker reserve/collateral. Further comments on risk control - see - https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=750612
  4. Exact rule for trade entrance. Exact rules for failed trade exit. As near as possible exact rules for TP. A number of defining rules implies a composite rule.

No further comments.

was a good couple of months ago they invited members with impacts to beta test their 3 new sites...metal, crypto, energy...
frankly, FF.com is hardly super dedicated, as moderation is scarce, the commercial section is unkept, anyone can post a "new system" without a trade of evidence that it is not a complete time or money waster...
the new forums could/should have a life as a subforum of this, but then i think it was a better avenue to keep them separate and sell more advertising banners.
but sure, on the upside, it is same ID and password
there is always, always another trade!!
