These charts are related to the supply and demand methodology that makes trading decisions based on MTFs analysis of order flaws

This is how I interpret George's lines and gaps - price failed to filled/engulfed the low/gap hence formed the origin of the up move which is the intended target.

It is well known that Frankfurt/London bring volume to the market and that volume can be traded successfully in different ways here is a link to a easy to follow Strategy to trade this volume which I feel could easily be done using R4M indicators, they would just need to be adapted to pickup the Range prior to the volume opening time.

Hi @moodybot -- thanks for the pointer to @George's post #3709. I've seen it before and wrestled with it. I'll take a closer look.

With regards to your comment about the thread being "cluttered with assumptions and speculations" -- that's not quite right. It is more accurate to say this thread has been "blessed" with assumptions and speculations. Look it -- @George dumped a puzzle with a 1000 pieces on our lap. I'm grateful for the puzzle. And now we're trying to put together the pieces. Of course there will be fits of starts and stops when putting a puzzle together -- you know that better than most. Assumptions and speculations go hand-in-hand when you are attempting to solve a problem that lends itself to an empirical approach. And solving a puzzle requires an empirical approach. If this were physics -- which falls under the theoretical domain -- then, sure, assumptions and speculations are not the way to go. But unless you or @George are willing to document an explicit recipe for how you trade, then the best we can do is assume and speculate. It will take a bit longer -- just hopefully not 20 years and 40000 hours of screen time.

I get the intention of your post and will take it to heart, like everything you write. I just want to make clear that assumptions and speculations are good because it means (some of us) are thinking about it -- as opposed to waiting for it to be spoon fed. That's all I meant...

btw, after more than 2000 posts , I keep harvesting money with all this 'useless indicators' that make my chart look like Christmas tree but me and my Dogs love it, so why not.. ? In the end, we just want to make money consistently right ? (whatever 'the ways' you choose)

@mixedbags -- you're fine and your posts are good -- thanks.

Is anyone here familiar with the word "triage"? It is used in different contexts when a handful people come together in attempt to solve a problem or, at least, make sure they are on the same page. For example, in a hospital environment -- a patient comes in with a serious illness. So the neurosurgeon, primary care doctor, endocrinologist, oncologist, nurse, etc. will triage -- that, use the latest information currently at hand and decide on the next course of action. Two days later they may meet again and change course.

As long as posts are sort of related and you're thinking and sharing, then it's all good. And it may jog someone else's mind to see something new that no one else has yet reported.

It's just part of the process of how people can collectively solve a problem -- as opposed to sitting alone in front of a screen.

@Nih98 -- beautiful results. Thanks for reminding us there is more than one way. And, yes, trust your dog the same way he/she trusts you.

This "useless indicators" thing has sort of become a distraction. When someone says "indicators are useless" without prefacing that statement with a qualifier, then people interpret it to mean "indicators are useless" -- always. Which obviously isn't true. And then we spend time arguing, assuming, speculating about indicators. What would have been more correct to say and would have eliminated a lot of tension would have been to say -- "When @George trades he doesn't need or use standard indicators". And then the response would have been -- "Oh, okay, that's cool" -- and we'd move on.

I just revisited and reread @George's post and, to be honest, it's just way too abstract for me. Yep, he's giving general advice, but no direction.

Let me put it to you this way. Suppose your boss gave you the task of figuring out @George's methodology -- and he gave you 2 weeks, otherwise you're out. And let's say your boss provided the necessary resources. So, based on @George's post #61, what would be your next, logical step. Oh, yes, you have to report your progress to your boss each morning and justify why he paid you $150 / hr the previous day.

Many of @George's posts include clues -- but they are also like "pep talks" -- to keep the team motivated and moving in a particular direction. But if you are trying to solve a problem and time is of the essence well, then, I have to go with what works for me -- that's all I have. Since I'm not you then I can't go with what works for you, right?

As long as you use 'data' then you use 'indicators'. Very obviously ADR (Average Daily Range) kind of 'not so useless indicator' coz this inform 'money flow' in range as numbers. And Japanese Candlesticks also 'indicator' that inform you visually about 4 positions value in time 'slash' you choose. So, any chart types basically just 'indicators' to represent statistical data flow in visual mode.

Tokyo Open, Frankfurt Open, London Open, New York Open, are point of references to "indicate" where MM 'money flow' start to increase their activity. Soon, in the future you should start to 'watch' Shanghai Open.. when this second biggest world economic power become first. Then there will be no 'quiet Asian Session' anymore.

Hi @moodybot -- I've re-read post #3709 and though I get the flavor, there are too many missing pieces. Also, some of the terminology is not clear to me. If only one sentence was unclear, then I could probably deduce the missing piece. But it's just one sentence after another.

Here's an analogy -- let's suppose I was a pilot instructor and I was training a new pilot. And suppose I gave that new pilot a set of instructions similar to post #3709. Would you recommend I hand over the controls to that new pilot?

Post #3709 is different than the types of instructions I've seen in the past. I used to publish scientific papers -- and you absolutely must provide every detail so someone else can reproduce and verify your results. I've also read motivational papers that are slim on details but strong on intangibles that help bring people together and keep things progressing forward. To me, post #3709 is like a puzzle -- missing numbers and undefined terminology that are left to me to figure out. I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do with it -- other than "study, study, screen time, screen time".

Hi Brother @Moodybot, George also use SMAs that actually mother of standard 'crap' MT4 indicator to determine multiple TF momentum.. in related to price action.

Hey @moodybot -- I was about to take my dog for a walk when your latest post flashed on my screen. I have not read the entire post carefully -- but when I read the last line then it did push a button. So, at the risk of making an ar5e of myself, I wanted to address that.

This is the part I just don't get and is different than any other type of technical or teaching I've ever seen before. I mean I don't know what to call it. On one hand, it seems you want us to "get it", but on the other you write in riddles. I mean, what if you were sick and you went to the doctor and he talked to you the way you post? I mean, you would be dumbfounded, right? You wouldn't know what the doctor's intentions were. If the doctor was trying to help you, then why was he talking in riddles? And if the doctor was talking in riddles then what and why was he hiding details? I guess what I'm saying is I can't figure out what everyone's intentions are. If it were not possible for the doctor to explicitly describe your condition, then fine. But if your doctor could describe it explicitly but only responded with riddles and puzzles then what would you be thinking?

And just to be clear -- I am not asking for additional details. You guys have gone above and beyond what I deserve. My eyes are open and I've learned a ton. So, please, this is not about asking for more. It's just that I'm looking for some type of acknowledgement from you that, yes, it's a puzzle and it's good exercise for our brains to put the pieces together ourselves. And understand it's not going to be a direct path. Since you already know the answer then you can see that our path is not straight. But since we don't know the answer then we don't have a reference to judge whether or not we are taking the best path.

I think moodybot is guiding us - when we are shifting our eyes away from the target. To solve the puzzle (or riddles) requires some patience. A hasty brain can make more mistakes.

Activated lvl 5 TMA bands, and put that median/equilibrium/fair value/whatever horiz yellow line as reference.

The dogs are happy with all the dog food i bought them using this method. It has clear rules no riddles and very easy to trade. I think your all under estimating NIH98. He has even shared results , more than most people do around here .

I used your TMA indicator and sold at the M1 extreme this morning, now 22 pips and trailing the stop.
