Yep... SL was hit... actually mine had entered another trade after that one I posted (I have PVD106 set to hold more than one position at a time), and that one was stopped out too. I came home from work today, and it has entered another short after market came back down (entry is 1.26992).

I'll suggest you stick to only one open order. It's been proven to be more profitable from bactests

So its been 2 months since starting this little $100 account and I have to say its not looking anything like the back tests!

Well one thing I can say is that trading any EA these days on GBP pairs is very risky as its been extremely volatile and unstable.

Also the downside of this setting that I'm using, 70 SL, 35 TP is that it takes only 1 SL being hit to wipe out 2 profitable trades, and this last month its been like this, win one, lose one...

I'll keep this account going and see how its looking after 6 months, hopefully by that time it will be making profit and starting to resemble what the back test looks like.

I had that concern about the EA not trading so fantastic in real live like it did in backtest and quickly stopped it from trading my account.

Sure, I am also testing GBPAUD, GBPJPY, EURUSD and have added GBPCAD, GBPCHF last week, all are on H1 with risk 10.

my test it works only GBPJPY and NZDCAD with original MA, other pair need to change MA to other value EURUSD work with another MA try optimization fine value setting.

Hmm.. I'll begin forward testing with NZDCAD, thank you for the suggestion. Do you have the settings for other pairs?

Here is the new results, GBPCAD has another win today:

Yup GBP has Brexit so USD has TRADE WAR.

GBPUSD is overall troubled pair for now.

Today with GBPUSD pair result not good with 50/50 win/loss
recommend using a trailing stop

Try this pair with using a trailing stop trade (9-9-50-1)
EURUSD = result goof
GBPJPY = result goof
NZDCAD = result goof
(NZDCHF)

Most pair that trick open order but result not good (9-9-50-1) maybe need to adjust take profit to 5 pip-10 pip like scalping

Hey brendan777, which version of the ea are you using? There are soo many ultrons file on this post it's confusing.

Hi guys,
Assuming that I want to run a backtest of brokers that I can't find any historical data.
Is running a backtest using historical data of another broker (Tick Data Suite etc...) would be better than running a backtest on the same broker that I'll want the EA to run "live"?
I'm not getting results of 99.9%, not even close to that... But still, would it help me to run the backtest with different spreads feed?
I defiantly need a piece of good advice here how to run my backtests since I have to run multiple EAs on multiple symbols.

The broker that I want attaching the EAs, has big spreads and huge stop/freeze levels so even if ill run the backtest with a proper historical data, ill have to adjust the parameters according to the server.

What steps should I take?

I have decided to remove Ultron form my personal live trading. The last months has been whipsawing and overall has not had profitable results and the risk is to high I think.

I know that GBP has been very volatile in recent months due to Brexit news, but Brexit has been going on for 3 years now so that can't be an excuse, and current results have not been even close to the 1-2 year back tests results we've seen shared here.

I'll keep the small live test account running (TE in my profile) as I've already written off the $100 so we will see long term if it comes back, but I have my doubts Ultron will be profitable like we all have hoped for. Its a pity...
