For those who did backtest with this settings, did this actually hit the initial stop loss at any time? If yes, how come we don'nt find a big drawdown on the charts since the R:R(70:4(trailing stop) is a big gap. Wish i could see the backtest detailed statements.
Pls, does anyone know why my trailing stop of '4' and trailing step of 2 has'nt kicked off yet?

Yes, I had an open position at 1.30351 since Friday; recently closed in SL.

So I had some time and ran some optimizations trying out different/better settings and it is interesting to see the positive results.

I think with a changing market it might be necessary to do these kinds of optimizations every 3 months to keep the EA current. This is true when looking back at previous years where the current settings did not do well and only made real profit in the last 6 months. Perhaps optimizing the parameters to the current market will yield better results long term instead of keeping the same settings.

This is just my observation and I will test it and see if I'm right or wrong.

hi all,
noob EA tester here, stumbled across this thread. I can't get any of the _PDV_10... ex.4 files to work at all in mt4

I could use the very first ultron.mq4 file ok

I am copying them to File>Open data folder>MQ4L>Experts

I can see them in the tester but they won't start. I try to drop on a chart but nothing happens.

I'm stuck!

Hi everyone,

I am trying out both PVD106 and Lite3.7m. Back tests look promising. Trying them out on a very small live account, with low risk settings, on GBPUSD only. Might as well forward test. After playing around with them over the weekend, I have started running them today, since today's London open. No trades so far today, but obviously the EA doesn't enter trades every day. Will be curious to see if I get similar entries as others. Thanks PaulDV for sharing this! And to Feex too for the Lite version, and to everyone who has contributed to this EA's evolution.

Mrdfx - I agree with you that settings may need to be adjusted over time to optimize profits. I backtested different time periods with different settings. What worked for 2018 wasn't as lucrative for 2019 YTD, and what works well for 2019 YTD wasn't as lucrative for 2018. Haven't been able to get modelling quality >90%, though. So, again, I figure might as well forward test on a small account.
Hi everyone since last week I have on ULTRON LTE 3.7m live account GBPJPY, EURUSD, and USDCHF, so far no open deal. I'm not sure if it works properly because three red dots are still on the information bar next to the logo. If I run the Ultron in the Tester, the worm dots will not appear until the trade is lost. If the deal is profitable, they are green, otherwise they are orange. Can someone please explain this to me?
Ultron is amazing and I thank everyone who is involved in its development.

Three red dots appear if the transaction is open and is currently negative. If there are no open trades, the three dots will always be yellow. If you have something wrong, make a screenshot of the entire trading schedule with an information panel.
Got my first entry since starting forward testing yesterday - this one on PVD106: Short GBPUSD 1.26948 @ 04:00 (GMT-4/New York time Zone), one hour into the London open.

Can you make a full screen screen, where you can see that there are no open deals? Judging by this screenshot, you have a deal open .. but it is not visible on the chart ..
