It depends on your strategy. If your strategy is based on moving averages, rail to rail is better.

I have another renko chart ea, name is RenkoChartSuite
I do compare backtest
renko produced by RenkoChartSuite and your EA use same setting (boxsize,railTorail)
but the result is very different, why ?
I got good result use RenkoChartSuite, but totally use your ea , why happened it?

My Renko creator EA builds the Renko bars as accurate as it is possible to do from history M1 data. Other Renko builders do not build the history accurately such that you have usually nice up and down Renko bars in the history where you get very good and profitable results. But in practice your strategy fails. This is why I programmed my own Renko creator EA to examine my strategies with higher accuracy. Nevertheless, it is all up to you if you want to get nice profitable results in the backtest and then lose all your money in live trading. My Renko creator EA may not turn your losing strategy into profitable, but doing a backtest with mine saves your hard earning money. At the end of the day it is all up to you what you want to do with the indicators, EAs and all tools out there.

You're welcome!

The test of RenkoStreetEA (v1.91) ended up with a breakeven (2 months test on a demo account).

I think the reason why it differs from the backtest is the trailing stop. In the backtest we do not have access to real ticks, but in the live trading a Renko bar changes a lot tick by tick.

how is your trailing method ?
why depends on Renko bar ?

have you try use static sl tp ? ( no trailing ).

Hi, MathTrader 7.
The RSI EA changed 100 to 50 bricks to appear in this order and immediately closed the order.
And this RIS is limited to analog accounts, based on the model that historical data and real market price trends are not the same, whether to remove the limit simulation, let it test in the real market. I 'll check it out for $100. Such a result can best test its effectiveness. The results of the inspection are issued once a week unless the account is destroyed. Do you think it's possible?

Hello traders, cant fing working renko street channel ea for newest build of mt4, so as another renko Ea by MT7
Thous i found are not open orders, or have errors "you need non-gap renko" even if i use it
Like this MT7 EAs a lot, need help

I do not use Renko Street Channel EA anymore... If I have some free time I may revisit the EA code and recompile it for the new version of MT4.

Hi Mathtrader7, the ea not working says invalid lot size. I've tried amending all possible lots but is till showing errors at expert folders. errors about lot size. Please assist. I believe this is a great strategy if put money management/basket option in.. please assit
