Hi Wardi

Please don't be discouraged. I have been running this EA since 04-07-19 in a cent account with max DD $4.40 and max margin 43 cents. It can obviously be scaled up but at current state, I could have started with just $5 and at 1.11 profit, it is well over 20% profit in a month. I know the amounts are tiny but cent accounts are wonderful for experiments. It's that slope that counts.
I don't know what these other guys are doing to get huge DD %'s... I'm not getting anything like them.

second that, my demo ootb is performing very well, and no significant drawdown, at least not yet.

I said that the EA is running with a DD of ~6%.

But it is a countertrend martingale and if you are trading 20 lots at the same time on a $10,000 account any move in te wrong direction can blow your account.

I get that part but the question was "what is the action of the EA when total balance or equity risk is reached".

- Will it close all trades ?
- Will it stop opening new trades ?
- Will it shut itself down ?

Did you closed those trade manually or did the EA (max loss of equity) do that or did you run into margin calls ?

I thought i will let it run.
So far no problems with this EA but you have to feel when you have to stop it when expecting higher profits or close all trades when in a total small profit with old trades that seems to be going nowhere.
