Interesting, will watch for this and add to notes.....is it just this particular time slot?
What is the reason / understanding or is it just an observation?....is it because you have high/maximum volume i.e. UK and US market open at same time?

Im looking to long CADJPY, it didnt make new highs in Asia so it ticks that box. EDIT - Taken Buy position, SL just below grey box

What do you think SELL NZDCAD on US Open...didnt break 29th highs...... but only concern didnt make a lower low yesterday either

If you want any pair or a trade to do a continuation, that price has to be above London close price of a previous day.
If the market is trading below that London close price, then, consider sell or in range trades.

So the CADJPY long trade for example is not a continuation trade, as price is below?

was kinda hoping it was im long and hoping it takes out yesterdays highs.
Should of closed out around midday and then re-entered long on US open, I only done this for 1/4 of the position size (experiment)
edit@16:46 - closed half of position
edit@ 17:49 closed all positions on this trade
crap new this would go higher and take yesterdays high out, could of got nearly extra 20 pips

Really struggling to find pairs tonight. Either range bound no new highs or lows, or today only has created trend reversal.

Will play it safe tomorrow, had good week so far don't want to hand it back.

Lot of GBP data out today at 9:30 will hold of on taking any trades until after.

Yeah was pretty impressed with yesterdays selection all went the right direction.

yeah agree need to perfect entry down to pip, got good entry on CADJPY and could see where i wanted to enter. But yeah i now need recognise the setup for entry looking out for the hook going down to 1 min timeframe. Also need to get into my head the reversal of the hook on a SELL.

Find the hook specifically between 10-11PM GMT

My graphs are based on two hours ahead. Technically for me 10-11PM is 12-01AM.
I find those hours to draw the hook is efficient

Yes, Asian time is quite important which defines entry points and hooks. Pay attention to it and track it over time and see the price behaviour.
