In any case I would have closed it before week end

Hey All,

Good Monday Afternoon,

After Fridays Trade close and the break of my Trend Line, I see that today was just a small bounce. It looks a lot like a indecision candle. I am looking for re-entry in the colored zones. Current sentiment is mixed. I would actually prefer a correction down to 60.00 but I doubt it. Price is playing in the 50% fib area from the June 2014 High of the 115.00 area. I am looking to re-establish a trend line but as you know that takes time and confirmation.

EMA20 is at ~64.0 and could be a resistance level.

My opinion: Right now any trades on Crude will be very tricky the price movements are currently not natural more like controlled. We may have crazy movements coming soon without any indication of trend reversal or trend continuation. Oil prices are controlled due to what’s happening with Iran situation. Price is being stabilized so there is no panic but won’t be easy so crazy movements are well expected...

Correct. I placed a safety stop @ 72.00 in case price dropped. I never really believed price was going to hit 85.00. I just really had no technical reason NOT to believe so. I do believe price should hit 77.00 - 80.00 by end of August to early September. We might have a 20%-40% correction before continuing on. Unless USA stops blocking Iran from selling, OPEC opens the flood gates and China decides to go Green, I think price will float up for awhile.

Have just been posting my analysis in my own thread but considering you all trade oil I thought I would keep posting my XTI/USD stuff here.

Opened a long position this morning. I don't usually open during the Asian session but I liked the setup.

Looks like yesterdays pivot 63.67 is key today moving over would be quite bullish imo

I have mixed signals between the frames but cautiously bullish
All charts/ideas based on UK time zone

Saudi OilMin Al-Falih: Global oil deal could be extended till end of 2019

Saud Arabia’s state news agency, RIA, is out with the latest comments by the Saudi Arabian Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih, with the key headlines found below.

  1. Global oil deal could be extended till end of 2019.
  2. Saudi Arabia won't exceed its OPEC+ deal output limit.
  3. “Based on what I see now, I expect some kind of agreement on oil output.”
  4. Both crude benchmarks remain unfazed by the above comments.


Saudi OilMin Al-Falih: Saudi oil output will be significantly below 10mln bpd till May–end

More comments are flowing in from the Saudi Arabian Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih, via RIA, as he continues to speak on the output levels and oil market balance.

  1. Important for Russia, USA to have a common position on energy markets to ensure stability.
  2. Saudi oil output will be significantly below 10mln bpd till May–end.
  3. Saudi oil exports till the end of May seen below 7mln bpd.
