This is what has helped in both these trades. Those of us using a trailing stop have been taken out for a small profit and then entered into a losing trade, so you have been most fortunate. Just a follow up to my previous post. Here's the results running PDV 1.06 from Jan 1, 2016 - March, 31st 2019. As you can see, late 2018 was a great time from the EA, but otherwise, it did struggle. The test is with a starting amount of 5k and default settings. After a little over 3 years, it gives a 230% return, but it takes quite a bit of time to get there and have some massive drawdowns.
After quite a bit of testing, I think I found a strategy that has a good return. It doesn't have a stop loss, and it leverages the 4 to 1 win ratio with the progressive factors, but it has quite a bit of promise. It actually maxes out the lot sizes around Oct of 2018 so it doesn't show it full potential. You can't tell from the screenshot but the 2016 return is 150%, 2017 a 440% return, and 2018 a crazy 4700% return. Of course, in a real-world situation, you would be taking profits long before it maxed. The key here is to let each trade ride.
This strategy won't be to everyone's liking, but hopefully, it might be helpful to some.

Looks like the price touched the TP at 35 then pulled back. Not sure why the order didn't close. Would have been nice rebound after the last trade. Oh well. {image}
