= I suggest you throw a set of moving averages on ur charts ,,, 200 ,, 20 ,,7 ,,,, SMA ,,,
Thorough study of price played against them is just amazing ,,,
They are the FOUNDATION of what I personally use for PRICE ACTION ITSELF ! ! ! !
= Bse ALL of your entries around the 3 major TF's 15 Mnt ,, 1 Hour ,, and 4 Hour ,,,,
= The BEST , and SAFEST setups are when ,,,
You have a contradiction of MOMENTUM between the 3 of them ! ! ! !
That is how we trade the Fractal nature of the market ! ! ! !
= LAST and NOT LEAST ,,,,
The most valuable advise i can give anyone ,,,,
THIS BUSINESS IS ALL PSYCHOLOGY ! ! ! !
Once you have worked out the Psychology ,,, the MM applying to a particular move ,,,

Dear George,

I see you have recent activity here and I could not post on your thread as per your request. (Anthony, Apologies for using this thread, hope you don’t mind).

George, I normally don’t make posts let alone register as a member. As I’m a new member, I believe this is the only way to show my appreciation for your efforts in wanting to help those who are in need or in the journey. I know you are a busy man, and would like to spend time doing what you love and with your family, so no reply is necessary.

After reading your last post on your thread that morning, I felt saddened that this thread has come to an end but fully understand why you made this decision.

I cannot imagine the full extent in the amount of pain and suffering you went through during your trading career before and now becoming a Master. I admire your courage for not giving up all those years, starting this thread and your caliber in dealing with the negativity you have faced throughout this journey.

I’m not a regular in Forex Factory forums, visited here years ago but stopped, and was never a member. I visited the forums again in February this year, I wasn’t 100% sure what I was looking for to be honest but knew I was missing something. Opened up 3 threads, (your thread being the first opened), read the first 2 pages and saw that there were things which were the same as my understanding of the market. Read a couple more pages and I knew I had to follow this thread, so registered as a member. (Coincidence you say, it’s something I cannot explain either)

For me, I am still in the early stages of the thread, not even past 1/3 of the thread, haven’t even setup the 1m TMA’s (which a lot of people had asked about), but already I am seeing some promising results. My plan was to go through the full thread and catch up with everyone on the latest posts while during this time gaining a better understanding of the strategy being presented before asking for permission to speak with you on skype as I knew there was only so much time you could allocate to help everyone as well as your other commitments. Unfortunately for me, I was not able to speak with you to learn more, but more importantly experiencing a live trading session. For those fortunate people who have and all the other family members, should time allow, it would be great to catch up down the track.

Thank-You for sharing your experiences with everyone in the family and giving back to the community. Being a local myself, I feel proud that we have someone like you here who is willing to help others.

Just got home from work and see there was some lovely work done on Yesterday's Low and the Low from the 12th of April.

Price has still only moved 67 pips so interested to see what is on the cards for the rest of the day.

Hi Anthony, George posted the best summation of how to gain mastery over the market. There are a number of very key points that imho needs to be specially highlighted that readers can individually focus on.

Hi Anthony,

You missed the great move that was triggered just a minute after the London open. I missed it too as I overslept on my afternoon snooze.

It played out the way George charted out for us as per his post 61 above and as summarized by Jason in post 66 above.

I am still learning. So glad I found George. Just don't know how to thank him.

Hi Anthony,

What a positive way to look at your journey. Like you I am sort of new to trading. Did it a couple of years back and got swallowed up badly, left it until this year to come back with a fresh zest.

I came across George thread 2 weeks ago and have been through every page of his comments first off. I know there was a PDF kindly done by Bahaalden to look at, but it is nearly 500 pages and in verbatim style. I have put my own version together of the things I think will make a difference for me, taking out the repetitive elements and tidying up the grammar etc which is so far 75 pages long.

I am about to start to review this in detail and apply it to live demo trading, along with looking at the thread again to see what other other golden nuggets are there.

I never got the chance to thank George personally before the thread was closed down, but i was fondly lurking in the background doing my homework. I particularly liked the complete U turn of Bluesteele. That showed a side to a thread I had not seen before, credit to them both for making it happen.

I would like to wish you the best of luck my friend on your trading journey.

Great to hear that you are having another swing at trading and that you have found some sense of the markets with George.

I've done like you have in making my own notes of the entire thread and I constantly go over them as each time I think my understanding goes a little deeper.

George is definitely still around and running on all 12 cylinders!! He would certainly have noticed your post.

All the best to you too as you start to see the market through a whole new set of eyes.

Thanks for dropping by! Yep slow old day here in Australia with nearly everything closed.

Last year's Easter Friday was March 31st so End of MOnth and was only 60 pip "Doji" day on my pair.
2017 was April 14th and was only around 75 pips for the day. However the following Tuesday after Easter Monday was quite a big mover for both years.

I even got to catch up for a quick coffee chat with George and Kevin (Bluesteele) was there too. George mentioned he liked what I was doing here which was wonderful to hear and encouraged me to keep studying my charts and the psychology behind it all. The levels that he can think and operate on is just awe-inspiring but if George can do it I believe I'll get there, too.

What you've been doing here is great. I've been working on George's method too and like what you post here. Nowadays I don't post much as there're so many things to study. Once George opened the door, there's no coming back for me. I've also been exploring some alternative use of TMA outlier bands. Once price gets there, it tells us some valuable information.

You even compare what market did around Easter over the last three years. You're becoming George.

Hi,

After reading what George said in post 61 above I put in the SMAs (7, 20 and 200) on the 15m, 1hr and 4hr time frames and this is what I got. There appears to be a

contradiction of momentum among the three of them.

So I took the trades. I am still learning so I guess I am bound to make mistakes. If these trades don't work out I shall go back and analyse and see where I went wrong.

A few people have direct messaged me over this long weekend asking questions about post #61 for the marvelous George.

I thought it might be worthwhile to make a reply here and since I'm still a beginner at this George can jump in anytime he wants and share what he wishes.

The most common question I've been asked is about the TMA, the settings, etc.

The only answer I have is to humbly suggest to read through George's thread and count how many times George and other more experienced traders say that the TMAs only play a very small role in analyzing the market.

It is ALL about the Psychology of the market and a great way to start to learn about this is to follow the directions on post #47 on this thread which is a direct copy of Post #2407 from George's thread. Once I started to look at my charts this way I was hooked.

I still have miles and miles to go on my journey but this is what I'm training with every day.
