I hope WTI is not trying to repeat the last week's pattern and from next week we can start selling it.

But check out this and be aware of this wild instrument.

As you can see:
1- A 3 wave pattern during Wednesday, and Thursday
2- An impulse on Friday, and a sharp pullback
3- Continuation of up move from the next Monday

Dear Client,

On Friday April 12, after market, we will be switching the CFD Futures to CFD Cash. This does not affect the Forex pairs. There will be a price difference between the CFD Futures contract and the CFD Cash contract which will affect your P/L on open CFD positions. We will provide a credit/debit adjustment to offset this difference, which is similar to the adjustments we currently provide during CFD contract rollover.

Please note that, the CFD Cash contract is a continues contract and there is no longer a need to roll the contract P/L as adjustments during contract expiration dates. The CFD Futures contract has the daily swap in the price, however, the CFD Cash contract does not and it will have a daily swap credit/debit on positions left open during roll.

The transition will be automatic, the CFD symbols will remain the same and there are no changes required from your end.

Yeah spot on there, never expected the last minute dip though, the drop never showed mass selling just organic movement, still think this is waiting for a catalyst and that we will only know after the event, Mr T was the last mover, maybe hanibal or murdoch may tweet, who knows, good weekend all.

Some things to watch for next week:

  1. H4 trendline
  2. Since WTI is highly correlated with SPX a breakout (near all time high atm) could trigger bulls in WTI
  3. fib 61.8 (based on Daily chart)

WTI and equities are looking weak at Sunday evening opening. WTI is close to dropping below last weeks narrow range.

I still lean toward more downside looking at H4 and M15. Current price is below last week's median range - the median could confirm this breakdown on next bar. If confirmed, price could easily slip to ~63, farther on longer time scale. Equity indices have gone flat, so they are not leading for now.
