DislikedI was told the other day I lacked Focus. I couldn't understand this as I Focused on my chart when analysing, focused on my trade when in one, focused on my reading when I was learning. But the one thing i now think i was not focusing on is peoples advice. BTS, you have opened my eyes a little. Time to focus on Basic PASR. And just Basic PASR. I wish I was like some of you guys and got the message first time......Ignored
Disliked"wouldnt the blue dotted line be considered resistance therefore rendering the trade invalid" if it wouldnt be classed as resistance. please tell me why. if it is classed as resistance and under PASR rules, invalidates the trade. then why is Blackeagles example of a PASR trade correct..... {image}Ignored
DislikedThanks Scrumy. How long have you been on The Path and where do you see yourself now.....Ignored
Post got longer than I expected. I will post trades the next days as well. I will show you what I mean with all the above.
Disliked{quote} I will post an update on my progress on THE PATH in the next couple of days. I am at THE PATH since a little over 6 months now. But let me tell you one thing: I had a big AHA-moment in the last week. Basic PASR Bootcamps - do this day in day out. Take Profit at next S/R. Just do it. Proof yourself, that you can be profitable with Basic PASR. Cause if you can do Basic PASR and be consistantly profitable and progress further on THE PATH you will be even more profitable, cause you would let Basic PASR trades turn into Swing PASR and even into...Ignored
Disliked{quote} PASR Trade Battle Left corner: Blackeagle, a citizen of the old thread Right corner: Alesiosc, the newcomer on the new thread and a citizen of Manchester Attached a screenshot of both of your examples and an explanation what I see in both trades. Take it with a grain of salt. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ok Scrumy. Mow I can see the difference. It's amazing what we dont see when looking directly at something. So Scrumy. Would you say that it is ok trading into SR if everything else looks good.....Ignored
DislikedM1 Bootcamp Example: Basic PASR Trade in the direction of the trend Big Boss Price on Big Boss is in an uptrend. Let us look at the candle at 10:30. It changes the primary trend to up. Price is supported by Strat Shadow and rejected support @1.128 massively. {image} Boss Dropping down to the Boss and moving our line to 10:45 where the Big Boss candle closes doesn't give us a valid PASR set up. The primary trend on the Boss is now down. But look at the candle at 10:55. A bullish engulfing, showing a nice tail into the dynamic support of the Strat...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks again for the encouragement Rub. I'm always feeling like I'm be left behind as I only started on The Path a couple of months ago, and always trying to jump the gun. I think the one thing that has been troubling me with Basic PASR is the trading into S&R. As Blackeagles chart shows his example of Basic PASR also traded into S but was still classed as a good example. I've seen this type of example a few times and I can't understand the difference with their trades and mine sometimes.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Now I understand your confusion. You said "...his example of Basic PASR also traded into S (Support)...". This is not correct. BlackEagle did not trade INTO S/R, he traded AWAY from it. The previous Support turned into Resistance and PRICE rejected that Resistance, giving a wonderful set up to look for shorts (considering the higher timeframes as well).Ignored
Disliked{quote} the support im referring/confused to/with is here.... {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} That is what strat said to me multiple times. At first I ignored it cause I say "Yeah, I know what this is all about. Let me get into Trend PASR." Absolute rubbish. I can recommend you doing as much M1/M5 Bootcamps as you can do. You will learn a lot.Ignored
DislikedYou are absolutely correct about the R:R but on Blackeagles chart, if you were thinking about R:R, first S would have invalidated his trade wouldn't. This where my confusion lies.Ignored
DislikedM1 Bootcamp Example: Basic PASR Trade in the direction of the trend Big Boss (M15) Price on Big Boss is in an uptrend. Let us look at the candle at 10:30. It changes the primary trend to up.
