On LEVERAGE:

I try not to use or exaggerate with His Majesty Leverage. I leave it to more advanced/ experienced traders, PROs and gamblers. Thereby, adhering to Fti's recommendation. My brokers won't let me activate more than 1:20 by any mistake and I normally don't exceed 1:5 when in an attack or counterattack.

Hi All,

I have real experience of this. Not of large leveraged but large position size in trade, 2 months back, when i started Demo with 100K and it went down to 84K in single trade.

Was it:
Scorpion? yes
Ego? Of course.
Fighting trend like market will follow me? yes
Hope? Yes
Mindset? Rigid that Mkt will turn and position will be in profit.
Capitalized? Nope
Skew plan? No
Rescue Plan? No
Attack Plan? No

I read alot about this in TAF. but real experience of 16% loss is different.

I was planning to open other Demo account with 100K again. But then though, what if this was my real money? from where i add 16K in it which i just lost? Hence i kept the Demo acc. intact with 84K and slowly in last 2 month i came back to 94K, still recovering.....

Now i understand real meaning of FTI's rule no1.

"Preserve the Capital at all cost"....Without capitol it's game over...

I never traded 100K account even on Demo. In fact, I used Demo just 1/50 of my trading time (in terms of time).
I make Demo size either the same as Live or little less size. Recently, I have been demoing for technical purpose or testing something new.
Otherwise, I have the same attitude as for Live (Life), so for Demo (Life)

And you were correct with EUR/ USD but there's still some decent space before the Action

I am using 100K USD account because i will use 100K INR account for trading( which will be USD 1500 . )

Just to get the same feeling as i would do in real. I am using 100K ( pls ignore the Currency it can by anything)

Market is testing S/R zone?

Forces are about equal before shaking on - likely or not. If it's R, then for a fair play they should take stops above

Hi antmindset

Actually there is a difference, it is in the value of the pip to currency, I thought it would be the same when I started but it is a mistake the difference may huge and you may not be getting true results and feel monetary wise as you think you are, when you set the demo up you can chose your currency, please be aware of this it will mislead you badly if the difference is big as I suspect it may be with those two currencies.

Ant, Phil is right indeed. That's why I mentioned - the same size. 10000 Eurocents is not 10000 USD or EUR

The same question again. If your Live is 1500 USD what then your scout size in USD?

Hi Ex, lol sorry Exnav.

I will be trading with INR 125K which is ~ USD 1600

Exchange rate is 1 USD = 70 INR

My current scout size is 1 lot in 100K account in Demo which equals 1 pips= $10
My real scout will be 1.25 lot in INR 125K account which will again equal 1 pip = INR 10 = 13 cents.

Hence i am using this setup.

Thank you. I see, the Scout would be 1.5K USD. Then, the utmost accuracy and objectivity in reading the chart and feeling the pulse. Train to become decisively nimble. Watching the Size constantly and not wasting your troops. The smallest possible attack. (What I would do)

Hello Exnav,

Yes, i need to be accurate and nimble. I know i am not well capitalized even with bare minimum standards which is 10K USD i guess for proper MM.

Focus on Cable, Loonie and Euro. Engagements on retracements along with PA or on bounces from major trendline

Hello Ant,

Don't worry. It's still feasible. One of my accounts is 1.5K EUR and Scout is 1K there. But provided you will have less appetite (in the beginning).
