Today is the Chinese New Year, Year of Hog starts today.
And I realized I have already spent the last 12 years learning how to trade Forex. (oh shit...)

I am glad I am actually getting somewhere now.

Just a quick update on last night's trade. No trading today, New Year break for me.

Meanwhile, I am still getting used to the 1.00 standard lot size trading, and hopefully, I can hop on to 2.00 size in the next 2 weeks or so.

I think I still haven't completely got used to the reds while holding standard lot size, but this is only one way to get over that - keep on trying.

When did trading start clicking for you during those 12 years?

What made the different to when you when not profitable and now when you are profitable?

what does a comeback look like or feel like? I hate the fact that I am still making this type of stupid mistake, but it is what it is. Punishment is real.

I know from the very start that people makes living off trading. When I started, I only had very limited resources around me. no one knows what they are doing. So I knew I need to work really hard and don't give a shit about what others say. Turned out it took me years to see some light.

the difference from no profit to profit is knowledge and experience. unfortunately, there isn't a shortcut to it. I guess I could pay big money for a mentor to save me from a few loops, but I didn't have extra money for it. Instead, I just had to learn whatever I can from the books and put what I learned into action again and again.

I think this is where we are at the point where every bit of our sweat made its comeback. Entry and exit were made to completely capture the movement.

I work from tick chart to monthly chart. Every one of them helps me make entry and exit decisions. We all gotta find what timeframe works for us for the best given how much time we would like to invest in trading every day. Hope I answered what you are asking for buddy.
