I've been a trader for a pretty long time. And it my time, it's been the same as traders before in terms of opportunity.
So I'll break down a technique that's been passed around for an eternity and I'll explain why it's important.
There's no way around it. If you add any line, boundary. A simple % of change in a day. Anything below or above that satisfies this proven, time tested statistic.
You can take Brownian motion and build a giant wall in the middle. And HOWEVER stochastic, random or however many flash jumps occurs, you name it. The object will bounce off the wall and land on one side that you picked the object to be on. So what's the deal?
Imagine having more opportunities for whatever positions you want to open.
Imagine higher break out numbers.
Imagine less draw down for most of (any) entries.
Imagine volatility getting muted because at the end you would have figured out "well it's going to bounce off the wall anyway and my entry hasn't shown loss, so why not wait to take profits when I get the better bounce pop off".
Imagine being backed by the trend and the confidence with that.
The question shouldn't be whether an indicator has a certain quality to make price diverge at a certain time and place. You know you're diverging just following the rule above. And if shit hits the fan, that's cool because your risk is blocked by a giant wall and you can take the new opportunity to go at it again with good odds.
I don't know whether it'll diverge or not, for how long. It doesn't even matter because at the end having this particular disciplined mastered and its full understanding will yield results. If you want to go short make sure you do so when the market is down on the day and vice versa for longs.

Dear all, I do forex for some time and i have just been looking for a divergence settable indicator include MACD, RSI, CCI, OBV ... etc that draws a spot (solid circle with different colors for regular and hidden divergence) on chart when it occures and define if it's regular or hidden in text without the need to sight or visulize the separate window of MACD, RSI and so on ... only on chart curve I hope this indicator is available since I worked hard to find but no use Thank you for your help regards
