Another Sell...this might continue all along till London open. Doesn't look like putting brakes on. If there is no pull back till London open, should continue going down till then.

I spotted GBPJPY few hours ago and thought it had potential, glad you also spotted it, means I'm on right track.
Was just going to go through the pairs this evening, been playing around with trying to code verticals, but like you said taking to much time, would rather learn the charting side.

Yes your right about the times, I noticed the London open you get the big technical moves and on the US open as well. Had good morning but then lost it all and some on AUDUSD trade. Was a dumb trade.

I wont study your graphs you just posted, will draw out and then see if I'm correct.

Okay not far out on GBPJPY. My buy zone is few points higher than yours. I placed at resistance where as yours is few points lower.
Do you just strike a horizontal through the centre of the where the action has happened?

You are on the right track now...normally the trigger will be below the upper solid line, the price should settle below it. If not, during London Open you should see big pull downs below that upper solid line and around 8-9AM you should pull a trigger and let the thing shoot up till before NY open.

Interesting I notice the last three charts you just posted you only have the verticals set at time 05:00 AM and not been putting in the 18:00 vertical line, any reason?
If thats the case of just having at vertical at just 05:00 am I can easily code that.

Remember to look for highest day prices being breached consecutively or at least of three previous days from the lowest point.
The blue broken lines shows that clearly, now we got a signal for a buy, but don't pull the trigger till you get your pull back. Normally that happens during London open. Keep an eye during asian open too. Market can start doing its thing sometimes.

Ah that makes sense, ill start marking the highs of each day.
Based on that, what do you think of GBPUSD. Buy set up in the making? Purple line is Buy Zone.

excellent! You got it all...

Now careful as this might pull back hard, if it does to the second bottom solid line (lowest one), jump in and buy. But if doesn't pull back, wait for second day and get a clarity of what the market wants to do.

This is good observation, BUT, you are not the lowest of a trend, you are in between of a minor trend. This can go either way.

GBPJPY is at the lowest point of a big down trend. So to take a long position is valid

Must admit wasnt to sure with GBPUSD, but based on the rules Ive learnt so far it applied, but it does look like its compressing (creating a wedge past few weeks) for big move at some point.

Okay so, you would pull out in the chart view and look back past few weeks to gauge trend and make sure making Higher Highs and Higher Lows for a Long position?

Yea, you could do that, that will be one way of looking at it. If you want you can only go for those kind of trades all the time and you will make money consistently. But I learnt the hard way, I would also go for other trades i.e those in ranges and like those of GbpUsd (in between trends) lost mostly. Then I had to always look in what waters I'm swimming...then it all made sense. Every water level has different play rules

I went for EurCad, sell, I still think it will roll down further. Lets see! This should be safe till London Open, that's why I went in.
