Hiya buddy!

I take it you missed the trade because your laptop wasn't on, yes?

What's your reasoning for removing the warning message? I put it in so that people would know from the start which pair and timeframe the EA was designed for, and to make sure that people aren't attaching it to the wrong pair or timeframe by mistake. It can be clicked through to ignore if needs be. If you load it to the correct pair and timeframe then the message isn't displayed.

So I decided to open a small separate account to run Ultron on its own and see how it performs, you can follow the TE in my profile.

Based on my own back tests and optimizations I'll be using the set file which I've attached for you guys to try if you like. The DD is a little higher than I would prefer but in relation to the expected payoff I think its acceptable.

I know historical results are not really indicative of future performance but if it can do only half what it did in the last year I'll be a very happy guy lol

Yes Ultron has potential. It has become monster.

I have Robotron.

I haven't seen any EAs backtest with this kind of graph on Tick Data suite before.

Without tick data I see them a lot on plenty of EAs.

You went well with 100. It is nice using both progressive and full leverage. Anyway who cares how much percentage drawdown on a 100. Let it ride.

Yeah I had some of my settings on TDS not correct so I set it all up as it should be. After setting TDS up correctly it actually improved the results lol.

Yes $100 is not much so it will be fun to just let Ultron run for the next year alone, and then see the results and if I'm lucky make a very nice withdrawal.

Just as an aside: you can't use both Progressive and Full Leverage together. If you specify Full Leverage, Progressive is ignored.

Laptop was on. Probably a little network glitch at the time. I got the new order at 15:00 for 1.32422. Not looking so good at the moment but I'm hanging in there cos I can see quite a number of bounces/rejections at the support level prior to the entry. Fingers crossed.

Meanwhile, regarding the message prompt, I just don't like seeing them pop up so many when I lunch my MT4 since I'm forward testing quite a number of high volatile pairs. Though not to stress you, I can manage it that way

My Friday buy closed for a break-even. I run 48-2. I think moving forward I'm going to make things a bit more conservative and use numbers closer to Paul's original 23-2.

Is there any way to filter buy or sell trades by the use of a MA or the daily pivots??
