Found this signal on M15. First of all i saw a great potential BreakOut. It was perfect and you could easly saw it with your eye. I moved to M5 to get more detailed picture. When BreakOut happened - CCI on M15 was on his way to confirm and CCI on M5 was fully confirmed. I know this pair, i know timing, so i believed that this BO isn't fakey and CCI confirmed that. We had a lot of time to fix the profit. Great start of the day!

EUR/USD has a very small volatility recently, so i don't take it often. But anyway it still gives us a lot of nice signals.
What we see today? That's a very easy technical situation, which you can read in any Forex book. That's the behaviour of the market - if you understand it, then your trading is very simple.
We see that during Asian session price moved north, but when London opened - price reversed down and moved till the Round Number. On the RN price found support and continued to move up. That's how the market moves. After that retracement and bounce off the RN we were waiting for continuation with BreakOut. And we got it! We see the price had small consolidation before BreakOut - that's a very good signal. And then BO happened with a good momentum and CCI confirmation.
Very clear and easy, guys!

Let's take a look on GBP/USD situation today. It's very informative and clear if you use information right and understand the behaviour of the market.
After our morning trade price moved down and created Double Bottom. We see that strong level and see how price bounced off it. It was clear and nice signal for us to search for long trades. Price moved between 2 levels - support and demand levels. Price moving up from the bottom, then goes back to retest it and goes up again. Clear and easy, like in the book.
We see 2 opportunities to enter - small one inside of the Daily Box on M5, and another one after braking Daily High and Demand Level. Both confirmed with CCI.
Note the consolidation before braking Daily High on M5 (second picture). It's very good when price behaves like this before BreakOut.

Guys, want to tell about pairs, which work the best for me with this system.
For now i use to trade GBP/USD (main one), Gold and EUR/AUD. Also EUR/USD and GBP/AUD are in my watch list. But EU is very slow and i don't like to trade such pairs. And GA is very quick
Huge Stops and big runs. It works fine, but too crazy for me. Because of that i have stopped to trade DAX also for some time.
Anyway, this great system works everywhere, you just have to learn the behaviour of your pair, to understand it.
You can share what pairs work the best for you!

Here is the result of my first trade:
The system worked very well - price made it to 1.5 of the risk. But I was holding out for the 2:1 thinking that the nearby 200 EMA on the next higher time frame would pull price upwards towards it. I moved my stoploss to BE (or just a pip above) as price blew through the 50% level. It hurts to come out of this trade just one pip up but I feel that it had a good chance of reaching my target.
All in all, I'm really excited about continuing with this system! It's simple, it's intuitive and it works! And there appear to be lots of opportunities to trade during the first two hours of the NY session. Maybe I can finally get consistent results with my trading...

Hi, I've been following this forum for a while and playing with the ideas - thank you Whatever for taking the time to share your ideas! I've been trading for some years now without much consistency and I'm really attracted to the simplicity of this system - it's very elegant. I took a trade this morning about an hour after NY opened. Does it look like a reasonable entry? I'm using a twelve pip stoploss and choose a 2:1 target as that is where the 200 EMA is on the H1 time frame. Cheers, pipShine {image}
