Free or Good remote desktop control?

I use MT4. I currently have to take copies of it on a flash drive back and forth from work. I read somewhere about Remote Desktop Control programs. Do any of you use them? Do you know of any that can be installed on a typical work computer and operate through a firewall? I do not have access to it.

If not I'll just keep the flash in my pocket.
I have yet to try any of the remote control software but I do keep some of them for future reference. Here is the link

Works pretty good, no problems. I don't like the delayed reaction effect it has, but overall not bad.

Able to use this one from work, logmein didn't work from work.

From the machine you want to connect, you need to install an activeX. Depends on your company policy.

I think the Windows built-in one is good enough for these purposes. I use it for my dedicated web server and have never really had any problems with it. Plus it is simple to use.

Yeah, for server purposes it's great. I use the built in remote desktop to control a dozen servers at the office. A cool thing about vnc is multiple people can connect to it and watch what you're doing. I've used it in the past to show people how to do different things over the net. Very powerful.

FYI, You can set vnc to listen on port 80, or some other port that isn't blocked, and then connect to it that way.
So far so good.

How about using gosupportnow remote support service, in order to remotely access computers? It is easy to use and costs only $19.95 / month.
