Second losing trade in a row coming. Backtests are all unreal?

Second losing trade?

Guess your setting is different. We had no loss second trade. with trailing stop, it was moved to safety.

And on Testing there is no 100% success rate. results were at 60-70% success. there is no holy grail.

Please do work on demo before you put it on live.

History /CHARTS are important in Forex: You learn from it, make a guess but can't predict the future unless you understand your enemy BIG BANKS.

What version are you using?

Ultron_Op_1::: Pawel version doesn't have trailing stop but closed in BE (May be Lite3 & Op1 are sharing same magic number ).
Ultron_Lite_3::: Feex introduced trailing stop to make sure you don't lose a trade.
Ultron_PRDV_104::: Paul enhanced further and introduced many other features.

No there wasn't any losing trade from ultron so far. On Friday we closed trades in profit manually, it doesn't make sense to let the trade float and pray on monday for TP. Yesterday Sell trades closed by hitting trailing-stop-loss. profit was Collected.

Loss trade GU open 17-03-2019 to loss 18-03-2019 and yesterday to now, loss two trade.

Can possible I use this EA with other pair with generate new MA1-4 setting value? I will try optimization good or not for keep original GU.
possible pare for 9-9-50-1 is EURUSD,GBPJPY in case user with other pair

good or not if use long stop loss like TP 25 pips and SL 65 pips compare with TP 220 SL10

You make TP 25 X 3 = $75 and loose all in one trade $65 + Commission. Not good. Trailing stop loss is an ideal to always stay on winning sides. You collect less or more green pips but that's all trading matters to collect green pips.

Ultron is Volume based Good for all majors or high ATR pairs, GBP is been focus due to brexit nothing special. However, you may need to tune settings as per other majors moves.

I am using Ultron Lite 3, one loss buy trade on 15 March @ 1.3294 got stopped out yesterday. Then a sell trade was triggered minutes later @ 1.3224 up till now is a loss and seems to be hitting stop loss. I using default settings sl of 70.

Trailing stop 41, step 23. Nearly got hit on trailing stop of 41 to adjust to BE but did not (second trade). So still running paper loss now.

You can do a backtest on these dates and see if the two trades are valid.

But even in one of the backtests for last year, i saw about 4 trades lost in a row!

The trades are valid according to the entry strategy.

Your trailing stop of 41 is what has kept you in the trade. If you had used the defaults of 23/2, you would have been taken out for roughly 17 pips profit.

On Friday Buy trade triggered and I wrote it won't make to TP so i closed it early collecting GREEN PIPS. Similarly other boys closed it on their own gut feelings and collected Green pips. Those who closed buy trade with Green pips on Friday, received Sell trade on monday and it hit trailing-stop-loss with GREEN pips.

In your case, you let the BUY trade run on Friday and it hit SL on Monday RED PIPS, then there was a late Sell order in your system so probably you entered Sell Trade when we all got out of that SELL trade. Paul & Feex may include trades close on Friday So finger cross....

Above all, this is volume based EA and one setting should work to all 28 pairs basket pairs, I'll test it to learn how does it behave in different market conditions. Volume / Priceaction EA / MA preset should collect Green pips for all 28 pairs. It's too early to consider testing it for basket pairs. BT shows Ultron would have generated 1 million for GBPUSD but we are't greedy and need consistent Green pips and avoid RED PIPS, therefore we are using trailing-SL to assure we collect green pips in every single trade.

I believe it is better to use a break even stop with trailling steps.

Example initial TP: 100 pips, SL: 50 pips
In case trade is in 20 pips profit, trade will protected to get not in negativ with break even 20, step 4 pips -> SL ist now at entry point.

If you use trailling stop at 20 pips with 4 pips step. The trade will have SL 30 pips below entry point.

yes! thaths way im start from 100eur get 100% profit widrw 100 eur and you stay risk free!!!

then if you get profit 500% widrw 250% from profit Remember, one day you loos you depo definitely then you put again 100 eur and start all over again

Okay, thats a good idea. Maybe we can look at loosing trades and see what went wrong?

Also from what I saw leverage is important right? Which leverage you recommend?

The trailing stop in Ultoron_PDV works the way you have described.

To use your example of 20/4, the EA will leave the SL where it is until the trade is 20 pips in proft. It will then move the SL to 4 pips in profit and trail from there.
