Disliked{quote} I may have spoken too soon. It did fine with usdcad in 2018. When I started the test in 2017, it got "stuck" and went into big DD. The EA also appears to be very sensitive to what pair it's running on and doesn't get along well with eurusd, etc.Ignored

GREAT STRADEGY USING CHANNELS AND MA_BAND INDICATOR WITH 21EM, 55EMA..

I'VE BEEN USING THE "MA_BBAND" INDICATOR AND IT IS WORKING SUPER, GREAT. I APPLIED CHANNELS AND IF THE PRICE IS ON THE TOP PART OF THE CHANNEL I ONLY TRADE "SELLS", IF THE PRICE IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHANNEL I ONLY TRADE "BUYS". I USE THE ARROWS TO INDICATE WHEN I CAN SEE TO DO A "SELL" OR A "BUY". I ADDED THE 2 EMA PERIOD 200 TO TELL ME WHERE IS THE MAYOR TREND HEADING, IF PRICE IS UNDER THE 200 I ONLY DO "SELLS" IF PRICE IS ABOVE THE EMA 200 THEN I DO ONLY BUYS BUT FOLLOWING THE DIRECTION OF THE CHANNELS, I WILL WAIT UNTIL THE PRICE IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHANNEL TO DO BUYS.
INDICATORS:
EMA 21
EMA 55 (also tells you the the TREND when the 21ema crosses the 55ema)
2each EMA period 200, one HIGH, one LOW (tells you the MAYOR TREND)
1 MONEY FLOW INDEX PERIOD 16 (this is used like the RSI with VOLUME) when at the TOP above 70 look for "SELLS" coming soon) (when at BOTTOM below 30 look for "BUYS" coming soon.
1each MA_BBANDS. configuration: 12, 9, 3, 10, .2, 10 (if "ARROWS" come out of the bands the only follow the arrows direction) and follow all other indicators including the direction of the 21ema and 55ema plus the location of price on the channels) just look at the picture and you will understand.
1 CUSTOM BAND config: close, bands period 20, bands shift 0, bands deviation 1.5 (bollinger bands with customizable moving average method and applied price) (this on a separate window will actually tell you when you can enter the "SELL" or "BUYS" (If price enters the bands wait for the next candle to start to do the trade) "for those that know how to use the Bollinger bands".
