I like Bollinger Bands and pivots. Bollinger Bands incorporate the moving average and the bands are all about what the price is doing right now and gives you a visible reference for extreme price movement. And I don't know but I imagine pivots are calculated using averages and Fibonacci. Bottom line... the farther you get from the MA or PP, the closer you are getting to the reverse. Has been my observation. All that being said.... the most important indicator is probably the calendar. News is to the market like lightning is to a nervous herd of cattle. and you can quote me on that🌩 Cheers

Hi sorry for late reply what i meant was past data is not irrelevant its how people use the data to trade the markets makes the difference.Price itself is an indicator which can be used to predict the future hence there is no external indicator needed to do that.Ofcourse one can use indicators too but like i said how they use it makes all difference.

for example lets take a indicator called fractal its interesting indicator which most people use differently like some people buy or sell when price breaks the fractal and some people use it the opposite way vice versa.

There is one important thing which some or i think most people are not aware of is that forex or stock markets are effected by reinforcing feedback loop.

i found an interesting thing to share with you and this will almost clear all your doubts on how forex or stock markets work in reality and give you some idea and how to interpert the data to predict it see here.

EMA21 - works great on H1 chart.
