Thank you for starting this thread and sharing your research and ideas. Very interesting.
I feel you have presented something valuable and just want to explore ideas.
Perhaps idea has already been tested and found to be the path to blown account.
My ideas maybe right, maybe wrong, maybe way off the mark. Won't know until I try.

you might figure by looking to this thread and what Brain want to develop is a debate being open for new ideas but you jump in as long you already found one decent strategy that you keep as a base of your trading or at least your on the way to polish one,and you need figure better MM rules to improve your profit and DD. you know where there are more brains involved in one debate the the idea resulted might be amazing. but many here even with this will never figured cos they have lack of focus on important things ,and one of the most important thing is your MM strategy. nothing can save you no indicator no EA nothing if you dont find one good decent and stable MM strategy.
when you start talking about EA's and the best and the monsters indicators almost all will come in and ask for different kind of things. when you start talking about real and serious MM then few will come because this require to take this business at serious level.

Hello! I like the subject of this thread. I am sure that graal is money managent no matter what trading system does trader use. Firstly, trader must answer what is his/her goal. For example, my goal is to make 100 % per year. Is it possible to do without stress? Yes, it is possible. Therefore my minimum goal is 8% per month and 0,4 avarage per day. I trade 30 instruments, using lot 0,01 for each $3000. For example, today I make 1%, and as you remember, my goal is 0,4%, therefore special program marks 0.6% as overprofit which I am going to use to cover drawdown if it happens, therefore I never have drawdown more than 20%. It is my maximum. Regular drawdown is about 3-5%. Such system of money management helps me to make stable growth for a long term. Later I will show you my trades and account statement.

Its good you have your MM and you have success using it. But this thread is about Stack MM. If you have a way to improve it then welcome to this thread. But its better you expose your idea about how improve it. Statements and trades of any MM don't have Stack MM as base is not allowed because its outside thread topic.

But I'm sure if your MM works well, traders will happy you share it in your own thread. Regards

When you compare balance report with equity report you see clearer how safe is MM. Not only win ratio is still high ( growth since last week 4% ). Pips gained / pips loss is 83% ( only 17% missed ). And its floating values then it will improve when DD decrease

I let 3 tests running this week for show how works close bad trades and how worst profit while DD don't improve too ( people think cut trades fast make less DD that keep trade )

This is only a small advancement...

This is same test but using a lock -25p/+10p ( its equivalent to let trades close as normal SL trading )

This only difference is lock -300p/+25p ( its similar Stack MM with non recoverable exits )

1) First thing evident is profit graph. Not letting any bad close DD effect is low.

2) Non recoverable exits test bad performance can be because exits are simple. I dont have any tool for control exit by time or exit after retracement then its an approximation not good. Maybe force bigger profit closes affected it too

3) DD is higher in tests with bad closes allowed. I'm sure at end of week with more information we will be able to understand this weird and unexpected behavior.

4) Win ratio have clear differences too. Higher "SL" better win ratio/profit. Not surprise because this allow breath some bad timing trades and let them close in profit

I made changes in area trades can be closed and can see better what is the real effect of stack cycle in system performance.

We have one where trades need big profit for close. This make stack reach high number of trades waiting for close and slowing cycle effect. We can say we have a traffic jam of trades collapsing all. We have 45 trades of 56 max and DD grows eating all profit closed. Win ratio is very low showing many of opened trades are red

This is a intermediate system. I still require higher profit closes ( lower than previous system ) but i allow some big bad closes too. This show a clear improvement due trades is stack is 10 less than previous system and we have a faster stack refresh cycle
