One had 15 minutes to make a decision there ,, was it the pivot to make a desion ,, no ,, more than likely the trip above it took it out ,, now maybe a test of it and a mkt does wht ,, take a level out tests it and continues on or it dont

Seeing is believing. We're in an interesting scenario here, price above weekly average but in an overall downtrend... so I'll probably look to short the resistance area I highlighted, but should not assume that we are resuming the overall bear action... have to pay attention to what comes after that, see what holds and what folds. But it would definitely be a good area to take a stab at it.

is the 8 hour stochs gonna be topping out there ,, may take a few days for tht to happen and a few days while its happening ,,,,how long is a typical swing on daily ,,,points to ponder ,,, shit like tht is the next step to keep in mind ,, it will be till that happens or what ? a previous high a previous low a mid point yada yada

anyway, still not exactly sure what ur thinking i did wrong with this trade....followed all ur rules............then went short.....just clipped out on my stop........before it plummeted to the deep blue sea. I didnt think that was such a bad trade looking at what happened after i placed it. Just my stop a bit tight i guess

I've never looked at stochs... and have no idea how to read them lol. Maybe I should. What settings do you use if I may ask? Tips?

clues ,, see anything tht may have helped ,, then if one had put an indi on m 15 the tops getting lower and lower ,,pick a mid point between those 2 lines and ya probably got a pretty tight entry window ,, with a catastrophic stp above where ,, and a tgt where ,,,little things ,, little clues ,,previous highs previous lows etc etc yada yada

eur gbp similar only below a quarterly low ,,,, what happens when ya sell a low on a break out and take no profit ,,, little shit bud ,, ,,,experience of watching price ,, hard to get across or remember all the little things ,,but we will get to them ,,one by one ,, nothing makes up for being familar with what one uses ,, or experience ,, but the repeats of a high a low a mid point fits a few key areas

earlier took shorts some stopped out on trailing stop and some closed at yesteday's high tested and went long 50 ema H1 bounce(m5 600 ema) took quick profit,,,so day have been good so far with about 50 pis altogahter

going down now after stopping me out at BE

took 2 cracks at it ,, some profit taken on the 2nd one would have got ya something for sure ,, a 3 rd crack at it be careful ,,the bear train mentioned above could be in the dxy for a few more pips ,, a repeat ,, a high ,,, a low ,,, a midpoint lol

Been a bit of yaking about those useless indicators last few days ,,, just want to point a few things out ,, all relates how one views them and once again being familar with any tool one uses ,, the 8 hour is my grunt to trade the worker bee ,,, daily chart ,, down to a 2 hour ,, couple things marked and being familiar with what one uses adds to the bottom line ,,indi s can and do get traders in trouble ,, are they useful ,,, very,,, if familiar with what you use by them selves on one time frame not so much ,,its all about knowing which way the mkt is working ,,you know the previous high previous low thing ,, lol I am gonna use anything tht leads to a better bottom line in my business ,, sht time frame indis get smooshed to the top or bottom not doubt ,, on trip up after the 8 hour stochs crossed and the visit to the "lows ,, did ya sell every top on the 2 hour ,, kept track when it dropped down for a bit there but then right back to the top , where did one start selling the tops ,, where did one start buying the bottoms ,,,,little shit ,,,being familar with what you use ,,all parts of it,,, naked,,,, oo hoo,, fun and nice unless its cold out ,,then one gets left in the cold at times ,,, indis just a tool like everything else sure many remember the last square there on both charts
