I closed my shts out ,, not gonna worry about a couple ,, thats what next weeks for ,,, you all have seen My m1 chart ,, Iuse a few different small ones at times ,, you have seen the different averages ,, the main ones are always gonna be the main ones ,,, some days a big news item and not much happens ,, I always say use stuff ya know wht it means or make it mean something ,,, tht m1 chart the 2 little averages blue 4 hour yellow eight hour ,,never hurts to take a gander at a 4 hour ,,not one I use much but the 8 hour ,, one can get an idea of what something is going to look a bit like a lot of times a whole lot of time passes and dont even realize it ,, all geared up for every little wiggle and there is no wiggles lol,,, there is the three 8 hour candles since yesterdays low,,, mkt dont move as fast as one thinks a lot of times or like the gbp there is a lot of movement but the main levels aint gonna change much in the chess match even tho m1 is flying back and forth

same aves on m1 same ole same ole,,, find your levels trade your levels collect repeat ,, same process day in and day out ,,think what chart is showing you not what you think news is gonna make it do ,,,its gonna do what makts do regardless,,if going down res is sold if going up sup is bought nothing more nothing less

I dont know how u do it! So when u flick between ur tfs, do all ur levels, averages etc just auto update on ur screen?

for me on mt4, i have some moving averages for my h1.....and if i flick to a different tf, its just the same averages, same indis etc. I would have to change everything, every time ichange tf. And if i load up all averages instead, i have like - million lines on each chart and cant decipher! As i said, dont know how u do it

8 monitors helps lol,, thats why I get my ass kicked on my phone ,,, little lesson I learned a long time ago ,,your only as good as your tools ,, round here one dont start farming with a hoe and a pick axe ,, takes a little bigger investment ,, one dont start an excavating company with a rake and a shovel ,, investment in your business ,, I got lucky with a few trades starting out ,, I invested some back in ,, a laptop became one with another monitor attached ,, that became a cp with 4 monitors ,,that became what I got ,, just the business side of it ,,, its a little more than a hobby to me Im gonna keep putting back into it

A laptop and a magic ea probably really aint gonna make one realize their true potential ,, it takes a bit more ,,its like any business,, then it became the charts ,, lets face it most broker charts limited only so much ya can do with ,, so tried a few differnt charting packages ,, a few friends had these ,I liked them they show me my levels and everything I need ,, as said ,,its like any business invest,, ya get it back

My hats off to Eng lol,, tht kid can trade from his phone ,,hats off to anybody tht can ,, but its just not my tool ,,little practice maybe ,, but its a bit like a hoe to me ,, gets used but its far from anything tht will make the money for me

Whats this magic ea - sounds interesting?!

yeh - im even finding my laptop hard....got to big screens in storage i might need to pull out soon.....and buying a tablet for on the road! Would love to just sit and do this shit on a proper set up eCh day....but until i can pay my bills with this stuff (which is 500 years away!), havent got a hope!

take what ya got ,, next week ya make a little bit ,,pull a little out for business expense ,, I looked at like this ,, I made a little with a lap top ,,luck more than anything ,,but took some and got another monitor etc etc ,, I can tell ya right now ,,there is nothing normal where this kinda money available for us common people there just isint ,,, all ya got to do is get it ,,anything that makes tht easier for ya is money well spent

I can speak from experience when it comes to what Diggs is sayin. Dig told me the same thing a long time ago,,,"invest in your business". So i did. Saved up, took from profit in the market,,,finally when i could i bought a legit trade station. Going from one single 23" monitor...to 6 27" monitors,,having a system that will push all of them,,a laptop on the side,,,Is a massive difference. Still feels overwhelming at times with all the data you can see at one time. But,,as always,,I'm glad i listened to him,,Diggs has never steered me in the wrong direction,,and he does the same thing here. Cheers Diggs! Always appreciate ya bud!

i can show u how i do mine,
i create a 5 mins template, 15 mins template, 1hr....so wen i switch to those charts i change templates so my MA's don't change
tedious but can be done...till we have enough profits to invest in 8 monitors

i am currently trading from the laptop,,,was thinking to ad one screen but this blow on thursday put me on the back and will add some later after making some money,,,now i need to add some more funds to my trading account so i can make some,,,coz with this tiny account it would be much harder for me to to make some took some trades on friday closed in profit but with that i can not even a pack of cigrates for me. I am also thinking to buy some chart package could you please guide me which charting programme is the best one,,,i am trading with the icmarkets at the moment the have very less spread on EU nad i trade it the most,,,but their service is not good their mt4 get frozen and disconnected again and again especially during news times,,,i want to change my broker as well with the tight spreads on EU,,,,could any body recomend any good broker with tight spread,,

The epidemic of some hits being taken thursday into friday and how to combat or get across a bit of how to combat it has me doing some pondering and thinking ,,, the whole point is to for all to learn a few things and not just get a spoon feeding every day,, hard to get years worth of hard lessons across in even a few months ,,gonna be a few posts as its rather time consuming I will rattle them off as I get them done

1st a few general things which may help ,,,, some of which back in the day the advertising ,, popular phrases ,,not really flat out lies because they are true to a certain extent ,,popular one I remember from back in the day was ,,hey trade the euro its easy they said ,,,well its easy,,, push a damn button and your trading the eur ,,thats easy so no lie ,,,, the disconnect starts right there and the search and trial and error begins for every one and usually leads to exactly what happened this week.

The part about it being easy leads to a bit of a nonchalant attitude when it comes to the time one puts into it ,,its easy can do it from my phone thats cool thats awesome ,,24 / 7 I can make money ,, mkts always moving ,,,yep all true its going up and its going down ,, a few little things and Im making money had over fist ,the youger generation will be good at that ,,for myself and most ,,,,,insert big buzzer sound here ,, look around every one not well off ,,every one not rich so it is not true ,,if it was nobody could keep a secret like that .That should be a very very big clue ,,its not easy and too most and even some who are very successful its all on paper as long as in brokers acct ,,its a fucking mirage till its in your acct and you can spend it

Not calling anyone out ,,,but some had made decent had even withdrew some had a little more to work with and then it happens ,,,,why did one change anything ,,,, forgot some orders just took some on a whim no stps ,, I got this shit down,,mkts been going down for a few days,,, I THINK,,, its just time for the mkt to go up then ,,,,,,,gone ,,, a mirage,,, poof up in smoke ,, this is a business ,,one doesent do shit on a whim one shouldnt think a business is gonna be built into an empire in a few weeks or a few months ,,, in a business certain things one doesent forget and certain things one just doesent do ,,those are 2 of them ,,a bank head dont walk out and go home with out locking the doors or the safe ,, a store owner doesent go home or go out with out locking the doors and money in a safe ,,one just doesnt do that shit ,,unless one likes giving shit away ,, this is your business ,,treat it as such ,

series of charts and damn ave I use and talk about ,, just the weekly average ,, shown on a daily a 4 hour a hourly a 15 and a five ,,, all charts any one can get thing to keep in mind is the mkt dont just change directions on a whim ,, it is a series of levels that are poked prodded and tested tested and retested till the mkt decides a level is going down ,,,,the mkt ,,,not us ..

Thats one tool ,, learn what things look like across time frames ,, one time frame or another does not change a level one bit

what one time frame does do is show you what you have room to work with on other time frames,, njotice the circle gets bigger and bigger the smaller one goes till it dont even make much sense on an m5 trading one time frame aint gonna cut it to maximize ones potential and time frames are not and should not tell you different things ,, they just tell you what you got to work with

Hard telling wht a level will be but sure most remember Jay Bags and I s conversation about weekly pivots ,,the eur does use previous ones a lot ,,hourly with 1 ave and weekly pivots ,, why any thing for longs ,,there is no reason other than quick scalps ,,nothing to leave open with no stps thats for damn sure ,, below weekly ave ,,a typical swing on a daily is about a 2 week journey most of the time ,,its only a week in ,,a little common sense says its not just gonna turn from where some got burnt thursday ,, mkts just dont do shit like tht ,,they are not going up and down on a whim ,,there is real big money tht moves this shit they dont operate like fucking herds it is a business remember ,, they dont have a non nonchalant attitude ,,they are there to make money and if yours gets taken in the process thats on you ,,your in their business world ...
