I just closed this last trade with +9 pip profit. This almost covers all my yesterday's losses.

So far I am -3 pip down.

Well, now I am planning to go long cable around 1.8585 or so... to take profits @ 1.8640, and if technicals support, maybe to let the trade run until 1.8700. My stop-loss would be around 1.8550 area.

I cancelled the trade above, now went long cable @ 1.8670... gona take profit at 1.8700 and sl @ 1.8650

L @: 1.8705

Above trade closed at +6 profit. Now I have completely recovered my losses from yesterday. My next trades are going to be, of course, less scalping then.

U have closed ur position already? I think GBP/USD will staying up until the US PPI realesed. Anyhow the outlook remains positive for the pair and the next event will make the pairs continues the up move

Yes c1ro, you are right! In fact, there is room potentially for 1.8730, but since yesterday I was kind of stressed because of my losses, so I decided to enjoy my recovery and continue tomorrow.

Well... thinking it over again... I will continue my trades!

Well, it strongly depends on US data... but... if the news is bad for the dollar... I can bet this trade will be successful.

In the other hand, if data is very strong for dollar, maybe we are going to have a retrace... with an excellent buying opportunity @ 1.8600, but, in this last case, I wouldn't buy at that level. I'd wait for further opportunities.

This is because if GBPUSD had the strenght to overcome a strong resistance, if it looses it today, for me, the market is going to be confused and directionless.

Ok, I cancelled my USDCAD trade, the GBPUSD I DID NOT FOLLOW appears to have been stopped with any kind of losses.

I improvised recently a trade with GBPUSD and just closed it with +9 pip, eventhough it reached +30.

I made SELL Entry on USD/CAD at 1.1411 Stop 1.1451 Target 1.1286.

Other Positions:
SELL GBP/USD
SELL AUD/CAD
SELL EUR/CAD (waiting Sell entry at 1.4310)

Thanks for sharing your trades Monarch. I see you are a longer-term trader than me. What techique do you use?

I have incorportated alot of different systems into my trading. I like the wave theory to help with retractments. I usually have a 50 pip Stops and some up to 80 pips on most trades, you could extend yourself out a ways when you have 7-8 trades at one time. This has been a successfull month trading along these lines. I also have used a revised -25-Method (He has a Thread) along with other indicators. I still scalp some, but I usually enter trades on Mon-Tues, and get out by ends week. I left one open this past weekend, thankfully it went my way. I want to steadily make pips each week, then when I am comfortable with my strategy, I will start placing larger Lots on each trade.
