Thanks for the response CLTrader and the Hong Kong suggestion( the better option for me as 9:00 am New York time is 1:00 am in the morning here.) One other question......... Do you use the same Rockypoint method as discussed in this forum for trading futures with the same settings? Cheers and thanks again. You're spot on, Rockypoint set a good standard for this forum with his response to all the questions. Patience of a saint. Guess that what makes him a good trader.

Yes. I use his 9/16/52 Ichi settings.

Hi Turnip.I traded that but was too busy to take a screenshot and post the trade.
In my opinion, the EJ is retesting the breached level that i marked on the attached 4h chart.

Dax this morning -poor showing on my trades. One of the longs immediately hit resistance. Must pay attention to levels. The kick off at 8 am was too fast for me to think, and in hindsight was just as well.

But the Dow was okay

Hello everyone,

I just found your post now. Few years ago i created an ichimoku signal indicator which draws arrows on specific conditions.
I used my mql4 knowledge in combination with a signal indicator builder. I did start it from scratch ,it means i did not take any ready indicator in any forum and changed it.

You can find a signal's description in the top right of your screen. Arrows do not repaint.
Few details:

- I trade 4hour and Daily timeframes
- I hold trades for many months (no scalping)
- I never trade the same signal twice (for example if 1 bar ago i had a kumo breakout and 1 bar later i get tenkan, i do not open two trades)
- I accumulate trades depend on my perception of the next big trend. For example current i expect that AUD pairs will soon start a reverse to the upside, so i will start accumulate trades to the upside, once i get the first 4 hour signal.
- I am using 0.01 per 1000 of my capital with max positions of 1:10 leverage. But always in a way that i accumulate positions in one direction depends on my perception of the next big trend. For example when i was trading 10.000 i was accumulating up to 10 positions of 0.01 each one (i know it is not totally correct way to calculate leverage because i do not calculate the losing positions that drag me, but i am talking in terms of balance and not equity).

I am posting this full system here for two reasons:

- First i want to help this community , i am member from June 2013 but i follow this community from the very start and few posts did help me in my trading career
- Secondly if we can work as team and filter the "bad signals" of ichimoku it can provide us with a completely profitable system.

Thank you.

You should think of your first trade/position as testing the waters to see if you're right about the direction you intend to go. If you are wrong, then GET OUT!!, re-evaluate the situation. There's no severe penalty for getting out, taking a small loss and then, maybe having to get in at the same spot or some place more in the direction you originally wanted to go. NEVER EVER EVER marry yourself to a bad trade (i.e., adding to a losing position, no matter how small).

Anything and everything can and will happen to you in trading if you trade long enough. Adding to losers is the road to financial ruin. Adding to winners is the road to financial freedom (going all-in / all-out is as well).

You will find long-term stability in your trading if you work with a winning system in the 40-60% avg win and 1.5+ avg reward to risk ratio. There are plenty of these. RP has shown us this one.

If you want to find trading systems which are 70%+ avg winning pcts (over 100's of trades) then you will converge to 1:1 reward to risk ratios. That's what the market will show you over time unless you are some special freak who has unreal discretionary decison-making capabilities in a "world" where absolutely no one knows what's going to happen next. To me, that is high stress, because, as a human being, having to be right an avg of 6.5 times out of 10 JUST to survive is a tough, tough game to play. Your physical/emotional health is far more important.

Dow - two winners and two losers. Like CLT says above -if a trade starts to go against your preconceptions then get out:

I did not post the indicator for my money management, I have friends who trade it with stop loss and still working.
I am using a forecast method and ichimoku just for entries.

Please focus on the complete ichimoku system.

Any advise to add filters? Any filter you would like to add?

When i started ichimoku trading in 2012 i never found a single complete ichimoku system paid or free that draw ALL strong ichimoku signals.

You do not appear to be a English speaker thus your posts are very confusing and do not appear to be along the lines of the "Rockypoint" approach.
Perhaps you could start your own thread and discuss your approaches there, including additions etc to your idea of trading Ichi?

We like to follow Rockypoints approach ( One minute bars or Range bars). Yours deviates from that. Hence you should go elsewhere and start a thread ( when you qualify) that deals with your approach to Itch.

No trades this morning ( UK time )
So missed a nice FTSE move :-)
Got the Dow this afternoon ( UK Time ) - Note I did not jump on an old up move at kick off so no "fear of missing out" trade.
Happy short.
