I hear ya and I know exactly what you mean ,, Its an everyday battle ,, but you are starting to see them come to fruition ,, tht helps in the trust dept ,,, now the cold as ice follow thru ,,your levels are right ,,try exactly what you said a couple days with small positions,, take your shots with a reasonable stp and check later ,, dont look evry 15 minutes ,,check half way thru a day then at the end of the day ,,see how it works ,,if your stp is only getting clipped by a couple adjust it a couple with just a bit more room ,,, when your looking right at the price gyrating around its easy to get caught up in it and not wait for your levels ,,its a hard thing to sit on ones hands if in a trade waiting for a level or if waiting to get in a trade at your level ,,part of that patient till its time not to be ,, if you got your levels down to 1 to 2 risk reward ratio try it and see how it works ,,the more skewed that gets tho the more patience one has to have

that one trip across the days range is gonna be about a 1 to 4 ratio,, its gonna come once a day for the most part ,, so anything in between is gonna cut that down ,, just make sure its not skewed the other way when you take a trade

ive bought some tools / indis today and hoping they might help me and save me some time too. Got a s & r one, a trend identifier one and a currency strength one too.....might be pointless.....but thought id give them a crack! Any help to my cause!

So ive come to the conclusion ive got to find a way to trade properly while im working full time. I cant do shit on my phone....ive got no chance!
Ive got some indis etc now, but they r all on my laptop at home.....so im thinking i need a tablet or soemthing which runs windows so i can set up mt4 desktop on it. Im assuming if i find one and can set up mt4, i can get alerts etc that keep me posted throughout the day. Im hoping its a possibilty.....not ideal, but better than ive got

I had a tablet ,, twice ,, both got dropped one was run over after getting sat on a tire and forgot about lol,,, I still had to use the phone app version of mete on my tho ,,, it is still gonna come down to the true levels of support and resistance ,,, even the indis you got your self ,, your probably gonna want some kind of weekly levels marked out 1st ,, or possibly monthly's,,, the eur is a little over 2 weeks into this up trend ,,,with a couple of lines drawn the way they actually show you something and not redrawn with every wiggle tht looks good one can see the weekly level that has been used for support as far as the cam levels may start getting used for resistance ,,, already has this week and most brokers still closed ,,but its happened ,,you still gonna have to do some home work my friend ,,, and intra day one still has to roll the way the mkt is going or you know what happens ,,, maybe light against the trend and a little more hevily positioned the way the weekly levels point and take some profit at the appropriate places ,,couple of 2 hour charts ,, one with with quarterlys and one with weeklys

Now when you look at a real smaller chart besides the daily and something besides a useless golden boy 4 hour chart ,, you start to see a level that is kinda important to somebody ,,as they say ,, the tails tell the tale ,,pretty tough sledding in here more or less

I dont mind the homework mate.....happy to continue drawing my levels in charts etc....i feel better with my own levels anyway! just being able To see charts on a 10 inch plus screen, have some levels on screen on all currencies automatically......much like u with ur software and cam levels etc.....would be better than the shit i can do on my little phone screen at the mo!

Its a chess match ,, just some levels are a little discreet but they are there ,,, which brings us back to the only thing we have a real clue at ,, is the when ,,about how far,,, and when it will die down for the day ,,, and why the little list of givens is important,, and time of day and what may happen at certain times of day and why when one gets 25 pips or better get damn picky about wht you take for a trade

for the eur ,, yea ,, when ya get around 15 to 25 pips start checking your levels ,,,has it been trading above below weeks open etc etc ,, same ole same ole

I also meant to ask you... I'm considering adding another currency to the basket (currently only trading EUR)... any suggestions or advice?

Edit: I should also mention that since I'm trading futures, it has to be a USD mated pair

Cam levels ,, its got the daily h3 level ,, hasent made it back to days open yet ,, its done 15 since it opened still above ,,1388 is res on longer chart ,, whole gaggle of shit either gonna hold or it takes a poke at the ole 1332 level ,,which just happens to be a few clicks below a weekly cam level ,,, gonna take frankie and london to point the way ,, my self kinda leaning to the sht side atm ,, asia has had a little bit of fun like normal ,, business will be picking up now ..

Couldnt sustain anything above the weekly H 4 level last week altho a good poke towards break out tgt ,,, failure already at that level to start the week ,,, lets get it on lol

Both have been a tad wild as of late ,, but uscad or usjpy ,,may be something to look at it ,,but watch them for a while
