What a day for me to register pn forex factory, i have been doing some back testing on the charts and i think this system will work very well if the right risk reward is applied, and to be on the safe side, to generally avoid counter trend setups.

Mastering the Fakeout / Stop Hunt Candle Probably the most widely forgotten & profitable method! First, I'm going to ask that you read this page, especially the disclaimer, it'll save me having to type it out again. Thanks https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=877939 Secondly, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their support and for making the above link the Hottest thread out of 100's of thousands, all the same while making that thread the #1 out of the entire forum for most subscribed, as well as those who...

Thnx FXCyborg for your time and efforts ,, I'm currently trading same method as you described but I always wait for 50% retracment of the setup bar to pull the trigger, from there I look for 1.5 RR ,, win rate is above 70% if trade with the main trend , someone I missed the good setup for waiting 50% retracment but anyhow plan is a plan

Kudos to FXCyborg for another thread, which will no doubt be as popular as the other one.
How many different terms can you come up with for "pin-bar" without actually saying "pin-bar"?
The first thread had bar-3 reversing/engulfing the bar-2 ( a pin-bar described over 2 bars)
This thread is more clearer. Second bar reverses the first bar (a pin-bar over 2 bars)
This thread may be more successful, as its over a higher-TF, and the moves therefore less "noisy".
As long as traders remember the Sup/Res aspects, they should do fine.

Will you, at some point in the future open a final third thread, where instead of 3 or 2 bar patterns, just go for the single, 1-bar pin-bar?

It must be frustrating when traders get really pedantic (not that thats a bad thing) and start getting anal over set-ups, and bar-sizes, etc.
This, unfortunately reflects a traders fear of loss, and getting all anxious over making a loss that they start second-guessing themselves.
And chasing a set-up without understanding the market structure and context of the set-up.
Teaching market structure should come first. Trades then have a context. Anyway.....

Best wishes for this thread. You have brought great hope to many traders. (at least 118 of them!)

I compare 2 brokers for 4H chart and they have huge different. One broker show there is a fake out but the other totally show different situation.

May i know, which brokers we should use or any broker should be no issue?

Thank you in advance for the reply.

Thanks FXC for this amazing method! This will work wonders for me since I can't trade full time, I am a Uni student.
Another wonderful thing about this method is that the commission rates are a lot lesser since I am using a lower lot size according to my risk. Win-Win!

Please help me check this out:

I was so excited to try this that I did not wait for the candle to finish. But nonetheless, I adjusted my SL and TP accordingly. I will not repeat this mistake again but is the setup valid still?

Good one Raj and it looked like you also had a good buy set up c.feb22 on its way to a structural high way back to Jan.

Thanks for sharing.

Maybe I'm missing something or not seeing it right:

The buy setup says, a bear bar followed by a bull bar

And yet the first chart shows 2 green bars?

Also, note the dates there, 23 to 26, that is the first candle of the week, open was gap down

Also, I never trade NZD pairs at any rollover, they are notorious for gapping day to day, taking all stops with them

Good luck

He already stated in the first post below that screenshot that setup was not the perfect example as there was not the bearish candle.
Cheers
