Disliked{quote} Hi alula didn't think we had a HAS2 Color Change Exit as yet although has been requested for future release. I have so far used HAS2 as confirmation for entry in conjunction with HAS1 and BO fractal line break based on JustUncleL's setup and so far gives me confidence in its reliability. As usual time will only tell. CheersIgnored
DislikedHi Gene, traders I am struggling to get sufficient triggers from using the Market filter on my various setups; perhaps this is a good thing however not sure if I'm using this with the correct range (0.1 - 0.2 range). Has anyone else been testing this filter or have any recommendations? ThanksIgnored
Disliked{quote} I did try it and it does work, I used 0.2, but I cannot say what to recommend my first test did not go to well: {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks a lot for that. Also wondering if anyone has carried out tests on HAS/Swing/Semafor (HSS) filtered by HAS2 with any results so far? I have been focusing on HSS filtered by HM15/60 with better than average results published earlier. Thinking by adding HAS2 (without HM filter) could refine HSS trade selection resulting in less but potentially more profitable trades. Any thoughts much appreciated. Cheers UPDATE: Just to sync up with yourself more specifically JustUncleL are you applying HAS2 to all your setups and getting markedly better...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes I use HAS2 filter on all my Basket trader setups, that is only because I'm a bit of a Trend trader fan, rather than trying to find the next reversal fan. So as a result I cannot say that having HAS2 or not get's better results with the S9 toolbox, because I have not conducted much testing without HAS2, only early on before HAS2 was added. At the moment I have settled on the setups for my AUD, GBP and CORE5 baskets (HAS+HAS2+Sema), but I'm still trying different setups for Market Baskets and All Pairs. I have not tracked my results so...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks a lot for that I have personally seen marked improvement in using HAS BO HAS2 and think will now apply HAS2 to some of my HSS setups instead of HM to see how we go. All the bestIgnored
Disliked{quote} I'm not too sure what extra benefit HM or Market direction filters may give when we already have HAS n HAS2 to gives us that information. I have not used those filters on my AUD,GBP nor CORE5 baskets, although I have been trying them on the some All Pairs and Market Basket setups, testing will tell if there is any benefits on particular setups.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks, after reading this i realized that I can use HAS1 with the HAS2 settings for entry and exit. Currently running one with BO and one without on 5min for fun. We will see how deep this red goes or maybe not; fun either way.Ignored
Disliked{quote} WOW! Was expecting a loss from these, but not this big! As expected using BO lost a little less. Going to keep the biggest loser and try a round with opposite trades, then add SEM SWG to the other. Still keeping 5min for dramatic effect, I am more of a 4H trader in real life so it's kind of fun trying to burn these demo accounts, who knows maybe will find something interesting. Behold; charts! {image} {image}Ignored
DislikedBig news on AUD today (China Aussie Coal Import Ban) has detriment affect on my Aussie pairs which were on a steady trend up. So all my Aussie pairs with HAS+HAS2 have all reversed suddenly and deeply. This is an unusual event and is the reason why you should have Basket stop loss setting to prevent big DD blowouts. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for sharing JustUncleL incidentally do you use any other stop losses on the pairs individually? CheersIgnored
Disliked{quote} I don't currently have any individual pair SL settings on my AUD, GBP nor CORE5 baskets. I do test individual SL's on some of my All pairs and Market Basket setups. Also HASv1 has a built in trailing SL (aka tailing EL) on individual pairs that I always have set.Ignored
