It seems to me you would get stopped out quite often. If your earlier trade would get you in at 8500, you would have been stopped out almost immediately. You should give the market room to breathe.

If I decide, for example, to have a 35 pip stop-loss, using a 10 pip trailing stop, I mean after my trade moves 10 pips in my favor, I have my original stop-loss reducen in that same 10 pip. I do not know if I misunderstood your point, or if I just have cleared mine.

I put a sell order @ 1,2699 on the USDCHF
Target 1,2630
Stop 1,2650

Now, if this cross cannot overcome 1.8640, we can expect a relative fast dip. Again, this one is as risky as the past one, and I will be willing to cancel it at the first sign of doubt.

Here this last trade almost was opened by 3 pip! I hope that if somebody decided to take this trade with more risk than the optimal, had not been order filled.

I have just erased my trailing stop and reset my stop loss at its original level: 1.8640, but now WITHOUT ANY TRAILING-STOP!

Besides I have changed my limit. Now at: 1.8570

Hi iiivbWho is your broker? the reason I am asking is that my broker Oanda does not have trailing stop and If you have good experience with your broker, I also can move there.

Last night the GBP/USD hit Fridays low, and this morning we hit Fridays High, by the assumption that 8578 is right in the middle of High and Low, you should be safe with a limit of 8570. I have not taken any trades so far, I am a little weary, and my thoughts are not completely together, which makes for bad trading for me.

Profit/Loss: +8 pip

I decided to close this trade at this small profit (projected profit was +-50 pip) because of the time (London fix hour)... and price got stucked @ 1.8600... so I decided to cover part of todays -20 pip losses.

Tomorrow's gonna be another day plenty of chances!

Do you have any thing open now then with GBP/USD?

I went long a on Fri when it was at 1.8585 with a limit at 1.8645 and no stop loss. It was in the neg for a while, but luckily it touched 1.8645 early this morning and I exited with a small profit.

I still think it will break from under USD so I went lont at 1.8604 today (should have jumped on around 1.8580 though...) with a limit at 1.8659 with no stop loss (I think it will rebound eventually...)
