Can somebode publish the rules how base can be determined uniquely?
Alfonso, earlier, 3-4 years ago, posted such defitions.
But later, all his posts were edited.
And now those rules are unavailable.

It seemes to me, the previous rule aboul candle with body less than 50% has to be changed because off increased volatility.

Hello everyone, Its been a little while
Hope you are all well and trading well.

I thought I would start a discussion about a topic very important to me and I hope to you all as well.

A discussion about trading and speculating.
We all want to better ourselves. Many of us want a place for ourselves and our families.
Unfortunately, some hate their jobs and that is not a small statistic if the studies on the subject are to be believed.

We come to trading and speculating through various avenues, with one pathway often emerging as most common, that of wanting financial freedom, to dictate our own terms to the world and live free of the “boss”.

We have heard about “how to make money online” and we see the posts on Instagram and other social media sites about how the trader lives large, swimming in money forever. The dream is sold to the trader. Oh, and to mention, that dream we are told will come with minimal effort.

We then come into the world of speculating and trading with an already incorrect or at the very least, inaccurate mindset and outlook. So, the outlook is of maximal gain, a life free of exertion and stress, and the comforts of living free before middle age.

We are unfortunately already geared for challenges and possibly failure in the world of speculation. Whatever the accurate statistic is about the percentage of traders who have short trading careers, it is not a good one.

What we are not told is that like in every other profession, speculation is a learnable skill. Like any learnable skill, there is an accompanying way of thinking that is required for success and advancement within that sphere.

It must be considered part of the education of a speculator to not only learn about the art and at times science of speculation, but also to learn and acquire a set of beliefs, a way of thinking about the endeavour we are engaged in, that of speculation.
It is not enough to go down the never-ending road of trying to find a methodology or system that will never lose and forever print money from the markets. If anything, we must begin with thinking about what it is we are doing and how we will conceptualise the ups and downs that will happen in our trading careers.

Giving up, running, blaming the methodology, the broker, the market, all these can no longer be options if we are to seriously and determinedly pursue the goal of financial freedom through speculation.

Stand up for what you want, don’t give in, be patient and WORK on your internal environment till you see external changes.

if I may, regarding the determination of zones.
In my experience with SANDD trading, placing a definitive and inflexible set of rules for identifying zones is not advisable.
The process of identifying zones doesn't and shouldn't actually start with looking for "zones".
It should start with identifying the imbalances - to the upside for demand and to the downside for supply.
Once those are found then we can trace the imbalances to their origins where the zones will be found.

And I've saved some of his statements, which are now deleted.

Hello everyone, I am new to this thread. While I tried to dig into this thread before asking questions, I find it difficult to follow as I don't know where to find the "rules" that you guys were mentioning in the first few pages. Is it in the alfonso moreno's thread, or at somewhere else? Please kindly direct me to the source and I will be graceful to learn from the basics before asking more questions.
