Disliked{quote} May i see your chart (Entry/SL/TP), it looks like it hit 125.000, also price was making LL's all the time, did it almost trigger your SL so you decide to close?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Would that trade have worked out if you had ignored your ATR rule? In either direction?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi, would you have taken the long trade after the first short trade shown? considering there was a higher low in the HMA... thanks in advance for your response regards {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Personally, I wouldn't have taken any more trades after the first win. I find so many times if I take another trade I just end up giving back the win. I think I have finally learned that lesson! The only time I'll trade again is if I lost the first one I'll take another stab at it and if it is a loser then I am out for the day. Hopefully managing to keep the losses very small so the next day I can catch a nice 15-30 pip move and be ahead of the game overall. Now that being said, I would have closed the long when the Hull went against the...Ignored

Disliked{quote} I don't get the ADR stuff, what's your rule to avoid trading?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Here is the trade I should have taken but when I saw the ADR was reached I figured there my not be much gas left for a 25-30 pip move. Wrong. That often happens and I think I am going to stop looking at ADR as it really doesn't do much - case in point. The ADR is routinely surpassed. I was also a little skittish from that huge spike of 63 pips just before the NY Open. This trade went straight to profit with no heat at all - absolutely text book. I would have been done after that with 30% in the bag ...Ignored

DislikedOuch! Just got burned - bad. I guess there is a reason they say don't trade around the news. 25% loss this morning that I now get to recover from A wait for the close of the candle above the Hull swing would have saved me from this trade. Let's not forget that these Hull swings are effectively support and resistance areas and this one sure acted as resistance Hopefully I can catch the next one to get myself back to break even for the day.Ignored

Disliked{quote} If you did it as you were explaining before, catching the first swing after NY open and using the opposite as a second entry in case the first one fail, it would already be a draw Notice that on the second one, you have a nice bearish hidden divergence as a confirmation. {image}Ignored
DislikedI've been playing around with your ideas but for UK Open and using 5m charts and getting okay results. Yesterday I got 5 wins from 9 trades and 3 of those wins were 2R for a total of +4R for around 30 mins work. But I can certainly see the difference at 2300 when US Open occurs. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I am also pondering the idea of closing the trade and immediately if the Hull turns direction and placing a trade in the new Hull direction as this is potentially a new swing.Ignored
