Shorting at the top would have been profitable indeed. I've been stopped out. Can you share what you can see that made you want to short?

hi ryanngk.I see last leg extended.I see on top of leg are consilidation and break of it in extended direction,I see stops are taken out if you see break higher than 24 january.I see fast move at candle 00.00 and candle 04.00 (gmt+2) ignoring consalidadion on left(smart money move price throught it,to nobody jump to it)but in end is consolidation they they sell they positions.at this moment I would go to sell till 1.57280,sl at 1.60970

Thanks for the insight - I think there is some sense in what you're saying but I don't quite follow how to see when stops are being taken out, or when it is a smart money move.

New to this thread, like the system. Still reading though. Entered long on GBPNZD, even though GBP is weak today because of news, hopefully it'll pick up during the day or rest of week.

@eInvestFX - EURCHF seems to be sitting on an upwards trendline on the 4H / Daily chart, hope it works out for you!

I followed this strategy, with 0.01 fixed for this month (still has to finish) analyzing the report of mt4, it is clear that the large candles lead to a stop loss so large, and therefore the average value of losses exceeds the average value of winnings. How do you behave with big candles?

Mean reversion. Enter the position when price is close to the mean the stop is just above or below the engulfing candle depending on whether you're buying or selling. once price breaks out,I take partial profits move SL to BE and let the trade run risk free.
This prevents heavy DD

I have said all along...this strat. requires a constant % of account for each trade.

i am also testing it on live account with minimum lot 0.01 and here is the results from 1st of february till now
in first week u can see my drawdown reached -350 pips but i didnt stop and continue trading, and i will keep trading according to rules post # 2, untill end of this month

this is what happened since January 20th. Now, I'm at 9% drawdown. Obviously that the periods so there are for each strategy, I will wait at least 3 months before giving a sentence.
