low of 2932/33 on that last scalp so ok .......looking to resell cable again in 2943/42 area if it comes soon GBPCAD is the real deal resell but to much spread on scalps

this pair sold own from 7235/6 to 7210 so far from last post ....i just dont like the costs of trading that pairs spread .....not for scalping .........different story on higher timeframes ...i trade all 28 pairs there.........
ok after the CAD spike move i had to recalibrate a lot of the systems ....for the NY session
us session has seen selling on CAD , GBP and Euro ......buy everything else ...swissie and Yen are best movers so far
ive been selling EJ from 124.40s to 124.20s at times
ive been selling Cable from 2950s to 2930s at times
UCAD hasnt really gone king kong bull enough to justify me playing (the spike moved it out of kilter)
overall today ive done just fine ......but had to work for my money a little harder than usual !
just my thoughts on indicators answering a post on a forum ............
indicators take a lot of grief from traders who dont know how to use them effectively
the main complaint is :-
" ALL Indicators are Lagging ..........."
well i have news for all traders ..................
everything regarding signals in trading is lagging...........the next bar direction , tick size or whatever you use to identify HISTORIC price activity ...........is unknown....so indicators are part of the same issue.....traders just create an illusion that they have more immediate signals and patterns ..........but thats an illusion im afraid......we are all in the dark on what happens next ...so dont fool yourselves into a delusional confidence that has no right to exist ............,
other thoughts on indicators ..........
1) theres a lot of ineffective ones that dont do waht they are trying to do 2) theres a lot of multi purpose indicators that try to do too much (jack of all trades) 3) theres a lot of Indicators that traders use in the wrong way
I would say identify what you actually want from the indicator
current directional Bias current Volatility of instrument current momentum/strength of Instrument
then find an indicator / setting that identifies these SEPERATELY ........please pelase dont do a 1 size fits all .........the swiss army knife indicators outthere that have been paraded for decades are not sometimes as good as they seem
look guys ..........no one can become a professional and consistently profitable trader without help....
I would love to tell you that it is possible to go there all alone but you cant ........
just as in life , business , sports , vocations , personal development .........where ever you strive to better yourself to the highest levels of sustained performance ........
You are at some point gonna need help ........
however that doesnt mean rush out and find the first person who tells you he will make you richer , fitter , faster , smarter , healthier ..............you know it cant work like that !
I suggest you
take your time ....... decide what you really want to achieve ...dont be vague , map it out down to real details Utilise free resources to do this phase ... just buy a book on goal setting to help you if needed
spend a long as you need on this phase .........engage both the emotional and logical parts of your brain and try to sense and feel where you want to go..........as much as possible...both sides will be telling you things so listen and follow / test !
then start the journey .........still if possible unemcumbered by any heavy mentoring or coaching until absolutely necessary
i know this sounds dumb but i truly believe that fate and circumstances will get you to where you need to be over time .....Buddism teaches that everything in life happens to people at the perfect time and place ........even though people dont ever think that at the time !
anyway im just saying dont rush it and let it all flow .........but we all need help at times ....just make sure its the right time and what you re looking for...not some blind hope that a magical messiah has appeared to you !
