My single pair setup using Has, Swing, Semafor and RSI has been a little quiet however remember that I have stopped trading the CHF and the GBP pairs

My 28 pair basket using the same parameters has not triggered a trade since I manually closed all trades the other day so nothing to see there.

Another great video on a Market Basket M15.

This one I did in several parts throughout this afternoon which is a real slow part of the day but it turned out OK.

I am still working on an H1 Market Basket and will add to that video as it progresses on, this will probably run through the night as these H1 baskets take longer to move along.

So far I am well pleased with what I am seeing in just trading all 28 pairs as a basket. What we need to look at next is maybe splitting the basket into parts based on pairs and time of day or even see if the market filter would help make it even better.

Couldn't wait for a signal so took it manually.
Would have been more if the add ons were taken

Looks good Pip Poppy. Continuing to test All Pairs HAS/Swing/Semafor H1 with various settings to determine best parameters for optimum & relatively consistent performance. Would be really great to know if yourself or Gene produced any results with the all pairs index basket setup today and to compare against my slow results struggling to get 100 pips since last night's Tokyo open. Thanks a lot

That's great Gene, looking forward to trying this out in due course. In the meantime some results from today which in contrast to yesterday are generally a sea of red; not sure if this is in line with other's results from today. Any how trying to understand why on certain days our HAS/Swing/Semafor setup gets caught out by the market almost consistently throughout the day, per attached examples. Would there be any suggestions re additional TS parameter settings including RSI which could help us avoid or at least exit the day's trading with less potential losses (or is that a million dollar question)? Hi Gene, back on this one again; I have multiple HSS setups going with DB set on H1 and H4 and was hoping this issue would have been resolved with setting DB to H4 as per attached; however that does not seem to be the case so will now be changing the DB timeframe to D1 which I'm hoping would definitely avoid the recurrence. My logic was to knock out bad trades early using a conservative SL x ATR but unfortunately with the immediate recreation of the second trade my results continue to be in the deep red. Will keep you updated. Cheers

Hi Gene,

Just a quick request and please only if its easy .......

Where the Dashboard shows the current trading session, would it be possible to show the Next Valid Session time underneath the "Trading Session Closed" like it is when the Trading Session is open?

I only ask as when I have it setup for say Tokyo open, I find that I go back into the properties and keep checking that I have the time set correctly. Tokyo open is currently at 1pm daytime in New Zealand so in the middle of my working day and I am not always free to check at this time to see that it has kicked into life. Having the next "True" time showing would be a quick reference with the clock above to check that it is all set to go.

As I said only if it is an easy thing to do as this is a nice to have feature not a have to have.

It was a slow night, the M15 made a few pips but the H1 never got started.

Are you starting these at the beginning of a particular session or just trading 24/7 once you have it setup?

Thanks Gene good to see we are generally in sync and with the market so my analysis so far tells me when its going slow best to somehow minimise DD and where possible keep out of trading for the day. Cheers

My 15m 28 pair basket seems a little different to others - I forgot to turn off EL and awoke this morning to a further 2 baskets closed in profit:-

My single pair did not fare so well overnight however I have changed the DB back to v6x and it is now taking add ons again so expect this to come back into profit

I try to start an hour or so after the new day starts, but lately I have been doing some bug fixes so I start and stop during the day.

Once I get down to normal trading I will start 1 hour and 2 minutes after a new day starts.

If I am at the computer during the day or evening I may watch the M15 Market Basket and If I see a good entry I will do a manual entry.

Mostly I set up on the H1 with Market Basket as it can take time for it to get into a trade, mainly a set and forget with it.

I will have it so what ever session times you have set up and set to true will be displayed so you can see what they are.

Maybe a small button so you can turn them on and off without going back into the settings.

Hi Gene,

Yeah it was more just as something to glance to see what the next session that is True is set to, that way at a glance you can see that you have the time correct for your next session. Any extras are always welcome but more than happy if its simple.

Thanks Pop Poppy as I now have my HSS setups working in the background thought to catch up on the 15M 28 Pair Basket trading. Could I just confirm the steps and configuration you've taken to setup here? I assume starting with Gene's 2/3 latest videos on earlier thread, download of et in accessories and reverting back to Basket Trader v6x wraps it up or anything else to be aware of? Much appreciated

This reminds me of how I was told cookies were invented when I was young. Baker makes a cake for the king. Baker fails, and ends up with cookies. Cookies are way better than cake. I have started a 15 min test with an EL also will post results (good and bad) when ready.

Hi Gene, I realise am still using Basket Trader v7 which I perhaps shouldn't whilst the bugs are ironed out however just to highlight another example of ATR use and the TS in v7 not quite getting it right. On this one there was no auto trailing and SL was set to 1 ATR @ 11 pips yet the trade seems to have continued for @ 23 pips before stopping out. Not sure if ATR value would have changed that much in the few hours since trade opened?

On another note, I'm a bit confused as to what version of Basket Trader I should/could be using for testing HAS/Swing/Semafor/RSI with a reliable TS SL/ATR functionality? I think we had some issues on v6x here or am I mistaken?
